Hi there! I'm a 36-year old guy taking some time to travel around the US while completing an online gtad degree in data science University of Virginia and doing some part time remote work. Enjoy the outdoors, seeing new places, and meeting new people. I'm outgoing and often up for a chat, but happy to keep to myself - up to you! Mostly appreciative of those kind enough to host.
I'm pretty self-contained; hookups are really nice but I usually don't need them.
Pretty new to the full time RV lifestyle, so probably taking more tips than giving. If you're interested in energy efficiency, clean energy, or sustainability in general I'm a pretty good resource!
I have a friendly and well-behaved 7ish-year old dog named Ollie, she's a 55 lb plott hound mix.
Still figuring that out!
I'm originally from Cary, NC (right outside of Raleigh) and now domiciling there, but spent most of the past 12 years in northern Virginia.
2021 Cirrus 820 truck camper, carried on a 2020 Dodge Ram 3500. No tow vehicle.
He was very quiet and mostly kept to himself. Could hardly tell he was here. He's welcome to come back any time.
My family really enjoyed ANewman's stay with us. He's easy to communicate with leading up to and during his stay. Plus he's fun and knowledgeable to talk to about RV/Truck camping and his travels in the West.
A great ambassador for Boondockers Welcome as is his friendly, well-behaved dog named Ollie who was a hit with my daughter.
We would definitely host Anewman again should the opportunity arise. You should too.
Newman and the dog were pleasant and appreciative. They enjoyed our urban hiking trails across the street and the great Utah skiing up the canyons.
He and Ollie are welcome to return.
Anewman stayed a short time with us and with the C-19 business we have limited our socializing. He and his dog were quiet and respectful guests. They are welcome back anytime!
ANEWMAN stayed at our home again (second visit) for a few nights. We were away and had several communications with him and he came & went while we were away. As was his first visit, communications were very good, and we know he appreciated staying again. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to visit with him since we were away ourselves. We generally do not allow visitors when we are away, however with this guest, we had a very positive experience the first time that we were good with him staying at our home. ANEWMAN is welcome to return to our home should his travels bring him through Phoenix.
This is a nice person with a sweet pickup camper. Welcome back anytime.
We had the opportunity to host ARNENEWMAN for one evening at our home in Phoenix. He reached out to query about staying for that evening, we had a few exchanges via the BW site, and he arrived late in the afternoon as anticipated. Very pleasant individual and had a very nice albeit brief visit at checkin. Once in, we hardly knew he was here as he is independent and quiet. We welcome him back to our home should his paths bring him back in this area.
