We are Chris and Amy Cox and we are Always on the Move! We recently purchased a house on a large piece of property AND a RV in the last 6 months. We have spent the last 5 months getting our property set up for our own RV and want to share some space with others as well.
We are lucky enough to live in Conde Nast Travelers number 1 city for the past 9 years. But unfortunately, Charleston is not as RV friendly as a lot of other travel destinations. RV parks are either too expensive or full for our fellow RV travelers.
Our property will provide you with a nice place to park. We are about 15 miles away from downtown historic Charleston. Our property is close to the hospitals, military bases, automotive and aviation companies and airport.
If needed, we have electric, water and wifi. If you are traveling with friends or family, we do have a house on the property that may be available for rent. More information about the home can be directed to us.
Amy calls Chris "MacGyver" for a reason. He can fix anything. Chris is a handy man by hobby and enjoys trying to figure out how to do something or fix something. Chris built his desk in the RV and installed a televator for his desk monitors. He installed our battleborn batteries as well.
If on our property, Chris has tools and knowledge to help you if you have a project you need to get fixed.
Outside of 20+ years of being in HR, Amy tries to keep up with the latest and greatest on Social Media and updates our social channels as we travel. She also organizes the social calendar and travel calendar for them.
Oh and Amy loves to cook and is lucky enough to have a front kitchen in the fifth wheel with plenty of space to make a good meal.
Yes, We have a sassy cat named Luda and a slow but sweet older Bullmastiff named Eddie.
As of September of 2020, we have not boondocked yet but look forward to doing it soon at Harvest Hosts, Boondockers Welcome and on BLM land when we head west.
Our home base is North Charleston, SC. Chris is originally from the Grand Strand (Myrtle Beach area) and Amy is originally from the Lowcountry (Summerville, SC).
