My name is Eric. I live full time in a Class C Motorhome with my 24lb cat, Jax. We travel and boondock with solar. We are snowbirds basically chasing the good weather. We make YouTube videos to support traveling. See us on the road here: www.youtube.com/nomadicfanatic
I'm a videographer. My bread and butter is filming and editing weddings, but my youtube success brings in enough revenue with ads to keep gas in my tank and travel.
State/National Parks. But even a Walmart is acceptable.
I travel in a 2001 Fleetwood Tioga 24D. Fully self-contained, with solar & satellite TV. Have a generator, but don't need it as long as solar is operating. Sometimes it's nice to plug into 30amp on cloudy days when the sun isn't as prominent.
We knew nothing about Nomadicfanatic and Jax until they arrived and afterwards – he does wonderful professional RV/boondocking videos on YouTube – and I wish we’d had more time/opportunity to chat with him, as he’s a very articulate, experienced and knowledgeable boondocker, but also a busy guy! From first contact he outlined his requirements (small-charge electricity, and water top-up), which was helpful. They were no trouble at all. He faithfully ensures Jax stays leashed out of the RV. We were glad to offer a little safe shelter after the Wild Ways of The Big City Eureka ;-)
