My wife and I are retired from the corporate world and love to travel. Our overseas trips were cancelled this year but we're making the most of our MH. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing and exploring new places. We like meeting new people and making new friends around the world.
I'm a pretty decent jack-of-all-trades. I do all my own plumbing/electrical/carpentry/maintenance. I can usually offer some help in any situation.
We travel with Matey, our 10yo, 30# Aussie/Papilon/? rescue pup. He's a good boy who loves to explore and sit in the water.
Off BDW, we've overnighted in a Walmart, a CostCo and a casino. They were all fine. My son's yard in Tucson is very nice.
Every BDW so far has been great.
Originally from the seacoast of New Hampshire we now live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in northeast Georgia
2003 MinnieWinnie in very good condition. 2017 Jeep Wrangler 2-door in excellent shape. Both vehicles are well maintained and kept clean.
It was a pleasure to host this Boondockers Welcome guest to Candy Cane Corral. He was very respectful and his dog, Matey, is a love. We look forward to his return visit so we can meet his wife also. We wish them Godspeed and safe travels until they return.
I hosted Gordo bar for one night. They had hoped to do some Suwannee River fishing but unfortunately the Suwannee River was very high from all the rain in South Georgia which put my lower deck under about 3 ft of water. This prevented anyone who didn’t want to wade the chilly water from walking out to my floating pontoon dock. They are very welcome to return for some of the best tasting catfish they have ever ate.
Enjoyed hosting this friendly couple, had interesting conversation around the campfire welcome back anytime
We really enjoyed having Gordelbar as guests.
Communication was tops.
The Ozarks weather was perfect for an evening stay.
Maty and our 2 dogs had fun too.
We gladly recommend Gordelbar as great guests.
You are welcome back anytime!
Best wishes for happy and safe travels.
