My wife, Bonnie and I have retired sold just about everything and plan on full time RVing across America for a few years. We have a site in a co-op in NW Connecticut that we stay in during the summer months for our family. We love DIY projects and watching the sunrises and sunsets. We are both looking forward to visting some of our country's magnificent beauty and historical sites.
Somewhat of a handyman, worked in the automotive field for 30 years and the last 10 as an assembly machine mechanic. My wife, Bonnie loves to sew and has started painting.
We have a chihuahua, Princess, 11 years old. Very quiet - loves to watch/chase squirrels and chip-monks, none have been caught to date.
We are New-bees.
Our co-op site is in Goshen Connecticut which is about 8 miles from Torrington where we formerly lived. Our closest son and daugher-in-law live in Torrington, Ct with our two grandsons.
WE have a 2015 Coachmen Chaparral 5th wheel camper with a 2011 Ford Super Duty F250 Diesel. We are self contained with solar panels and a battery bank. Fresh water tank - 2 grey water tanks and a black water tank all tanks are just under 50 gallons each. Total length combined is 54 feet,
When my youngest granddaughter sees a fifth wheel now, she will always says "Princess". This guest was loved by all. Such a sweet couple with an amazing little dog!! We enjoyed their visit tremendously and would welcome them back anytime!
We were happy to accommodate efloyd52 as our guests.
Communications were great. Even though it was short notice, it worked out just perfect!
Our only regret is the weather kept us from getting to visit more.
We highly reccomend efloyd52.
Our hope is to host them again.
Safe travels west!

A very nice couple. We enjoyed our evening together and efloyd52 will be welcome back to the Barnyard anytime. Hope our paths cross again in the future....Happy trails.
We just joined Boondockers Welcome last week as hosts. We can no longer RV and thought this would be a good way to meet nice people while giving us something to do and look forward to.
This couple were our first guests. They were so nice we invited them to stay an extra day. We hope that every experience with Boondockers is an pleasant as this one.
They were a joy to talk to and visit with. We wish them safe travels and hope that if ever passing through this way again we can enjoy their company once more.
We had 2 nights of great porch time with these 2 guests. It's always nice to be able to spend time with like minded people. Hope they enjoy retirement and their winter out west. Couldn't ask for better guests. Hope they stop by on their way back in the spring!
Great guests, friendly and outgoing. Had a good time around a campfire with other boondockers. I hope they can return so can get to know them more.
Delightful couple starting out on a well-planned trip with their dog Princess. Efloyd52 were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed hosting them and welcome them back if they ever swing by the north country again!
