We are ready to retire and want to do some traveling and camping.
We have been outdoor enthusiasts all of our lives. We have built a log cabin, traveled with an 18'teepee and now are wanting to do more camping with our RV.
Jan is a great cook and loves to bake anything. She also likes to sew and make quilts.
I have spent the last 48 years in the Water business taking care of the needs of the water systems in 2 towns.
Some of my hobbies include: knife making, hunting and fishing.
We have 2 dogs that run free on the farm. They love to meet new people.
We live in the country 2 miles East of Humboldt, Nebraska. The farm is the place where I was born. My wife is also from this area.
We have a 1/2 ton pickup that we our camper with. The pickup is 4-wheel drive which will help drive on the grass without spinning tires and hurting the grass.
Great guests who obviously had boondocked before. They efficiently set up in an out of the way spot, spent the night and were on their way the next morning leaving no tracks behind, They were very pleasant to visit with and are welcome back anytime!
I unfortunately was gone for the evening and didn't get to meet our guest in person but would welcome them back anytime
It was a pleasure to have LivingintheCountry as our Guests. The are welcome back again.
Didn’t even notice they were in the yard. Would’ve of loved to interact with them. But due to covid. We couldn’t. Would have them anytime.

We had a nice chat. Even offered to help me set up for an event. This was lovely as I’ don’t always get to connect with the boondockers. Safe travels and you are welcome back anytime!
Had a wonderful visit with the hosts right down at the pond where you camp. No noise but a distance train and the leaves rustling in the wind. If you are in the are make this a stop for sure. Great host with good stories and full of knowledge. We will be back for sure.
