Hello! I am a semi retired nurse practitioner who moved to NC almost 20 years ago. I have been working mostly in primary care as an NP but also owned and ran an alpaca farm for 14 years. Moved to Edenton 3 years ago as I needed to figure out where to live when I "grew up"
1 lab cross dog and 3 kitties. The dog is fenced when outside and the cats are in and out at will.
Edenton was nominated a few years back as the "prettiest little town in the south". It is quite small, about 5,000 residents on the Albemarle sound. The historical district architecture is just gorgeous and the town is safely walkable. There is a trolley tour and and electric boat tour available at the town harbor. My house is just shy of a 1/2 mile from the center of town, and the walk is safely completed on sidewalks. There is a great coffeeshop and multiple really good restaurants, a small theater and many friendly folks to welcome you.

Enjoyed hosting cksbrown wasn’t here long but was a pleasure to meet and visit with. It would be an honor to host again at any time in the future.
Cksbrown was a wonderful host. We were made to feel very much at home while visiting Edenton NC. We stayed 2 Pleasant nights. She was especially gracious when we had to make emergency repairs to our camper which required working underneath on the plumbing system.
We will definitely be back to further explore this town. So much history, so little time. Wonderful host and very nice location. Thanks so much for your hospitality and wish you safe travels.
Very helpful and understanding host of a mechanical difficulty. Thoroughly enjoyed her company and would love to have her come to see us in western NC!
We enjoyed our stay with ‘cksbrown’. She was very hospitable and the parking spot was very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our time at Edenton and this spot was very convenient to downtown. We offered to reciprocate our driveway at some time in the future.
We had a lovely stay, complete with visits from Tux the curious cat! Host was super friendly and accommodating.
Host was kind, informative, and location perfect for exploring Edenton. 15 minute walk to town, 5 minute walk to fabulous restuarant. Shady level grassy spot under a tree. Looking forward to returning.
