We started full time bus life in April 2018 after taking about a year to build out our rig. After one year straight of traveling we took a hiatus due to some work contracts (Nick works in software and Heather is a physical therapist) but now we are hitting the road as full time travelers again. We love exploring new places, getting out in nature and connecting with people from all over.
We have a 15 pound miniature goldendoodle named Miles- he will steal your heart, and no you can't keep him.
This is a complicated question that I've never known how to answer. In the last year we have lived and worked in North Carolina, Arizona, Michigan, Massachusetts and Bali. Our permanent residence is Florida. The last place we lived for more than 6 months was Colorado and we grew up in Georgia and Virginia.
We have a 23 foot school bus conversion. It's a short bus and only 5 windows long and the wheel base fits in a standard parking spot. Our tow vehicle is a jeep wrangler although we drive it separate so its never actually attached to the bus. We are pretty nimble with turns but the bus does not have great clearance and riding a washboard road in it is pretty tortuous
Great guest, showed up when they said they would, set up quickly and were pleasant to talk to. Do to the rain and covert virus we didn't get to talk as much as I would have. They are welcome to stay at any time.
A pleasure to host vicaribus.
Communication was easy both in planning their arrival and in person. Cool schoolie they tricked out....plants and all.
Respectful of the land.
They are welcome to return and perhaps our paths will cross again.
Good communication prior to arrival! Adorable puppy! Industrious and talented full timers! Awesome, well thought out renovations to their fully contained bus with solar panels and an upper deck!
A pleasure to host them even for this brief stay and hope if they come back to this area that they plan to stay longer. Safe travels!
