I love life, people, exploring and adventure. RV life is perfect for me. My favorite hobbies are snowboarding & photography.
Jack of all trades master of none. I have a degree in communication and use it daily. I dabble in photo/video world. I have wood working skills. I've made a repair or two. I do have tools you could borrow for most jobs.
We have a 18 pound Westie (West Highland Terrier)
Anywhere I open the sliding door of my van and see nothing but beautiful nature... the blueridge parkway was pretty spectacular.
McDonough, GA -- I have lived in McDonough all my life. Life's been good here, but I have always had the desire to be on the road exploring new places. I have been able to travel quite a bit and I am always ready to go RVing.
2021 Sequence 20A by Thor Motor Coach. 159 extended wheel base Ram Promaster van turned into a camper van. The complete length is 20'11". It is self contained with kitchen, bath, fresh, grey, and black water tanks. Water or electric hookups are nice but not necessary. I do have a generator but do not have to use it. I do have 300 Watts of Solar & 2 AGM batteries for lights and basic operations. Sometimes I travel alone, at others I travel with my wife and two children. (14 &16). Sometimes I have my small 18 pound dog.
He was so quiet, we didn't even know he was here! Would love to have them again.
I thought I left a reference previously. I apologize for the great stay. It was a perfect location on our travels. The host helped us park and set up. I would stay there again.
Second time staying here. This place is perfect for my quick overnight on my way to NC from FL.
The host was very nice and we spent a quiet, comfortable night. Would stay again.
We stayed for one night on our route to a destination. It was quiet and we really appreciate the quick stop!
Very accomodating. There is hospitality….and then there’s SOUTHERN hospitality!
I have stayed at Clae’s property twice now and it is always a comfortable experience. He is helpful and chill, and the location is great. Highly suggest staying here if you get the chance. Great experience.
Host was super helpful and friendly... Made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed... Beautiful property also...
"CLAE" was such a great host! Very communicative, helpful, accommodating and welcoming. We feel very fortunate we could stay at his house and use the hookups-- the site is a lovely place to stay. He was so helpful in making sure everything was working and that we stayed comfortable, and he's very nice to converse with. Thanks for a great stay, and good luck on your future endeavors :)
Very nice spot great host and beautiful place to stay thanks again for your hospitality God Bless you
Had some issues with electrical hookup. Host bent over backwards to make things right. Thanks. Nice tree enclosed backyard.
Private convenient location, gracious host. Fortunately we got settled before the thunderstorms. Nice stopover close to the cute town of Mcdonough. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.
Great directions and easy to find from I75. We needed a quick overnight stop on the last day of our trip and this worked great!
Great host! Great place for an overnight stay! CLAE was very responsive and very nice! Would stay here again. Nice quiet spot to boondock.
This was our first BDW stay and it was awesome. The host is so nice and the spot is very quiet and peaceful. Very generous to offer a plug in and let us fill our tank.
Thanks to kind and generous hosts who allowed us to stay for a quick overnight stop in our travels!
Clae was really nice and he called to make sure we got in ok. Very quiet area. Multiple areas to park on pavement or on grass.
There is a cemetery next to it, just thought you should know in case that freaks you out.
We brought our 3 dogs and there is plenty of grass to take them on that isn't near the cemetery.
This was a great stop for us on our way to TN from FL. We would definitely stay here again if our travels lead us near here.
We just finished a 3 night stay here while visiting family in Webster, NC. Very friendly and informative host (and his son was fantastic in helping guide us into the site). Our 20’ trailer was able to easily maneuver into the spot and the full hookup was much appreciated!
The grounds of the church were clean and easily accessible. Was able to communicate easily with Clae regarding the stay. Level surface to park and electric and water available when I stayed. Thank you…
We had a wonderful experience staying at this location. Quiet spot for great nights sleep. Will stop again did we’re in the area.
It was flat, free, and available when we needed it! Quiet and secluded. Not necessarily level but good enough for one night. Much appreciated!!
Thank you for giving us a safe place to sleep after numerous traffic and road construction delays.
It was very easy to park. Clae had water and 15amp electricity available for me to use and a big back yard for my dog to play in. Clae is super friendly and fun to chat with. Also, this location is AMAZING. I had cell reception. Would love to stay here again.
This is so convenient to main road but there is a cute little Main Street tucked about 1 mile away which is not to be missed. Does it get any better than a bookstore with a brewery tucked inside and an ice cream place too. The hosts were so nice and we met super nice people in the little town also. We will be back to visit. Thanks
We arrived and set up for the night. Very quiet and peaceful. We did not need water or electricity, but used the trash dumpster provided. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.
I was 50 minutes from the host ,Clae and had vehicle problems. With no hesitation he came to the rescue with tools in hand. He has a big presence and a helpful heart. Till we meet again. My heartfelt. gratitude.live abundantly!!
Easy! Big church parking lot. Had a visit from local sheriffs, they made sure we were okay. Felt safe. Thanks again to our host, response time always quick!!!
Very accommadating host.
Plugged in for supper then decided to drycamp by wooded area for sleep.
My dog and I had a great stay with this kind family and what a beautiful home. They were so generous, even as kind as to invite us to stay a few extra days to explore the area. My dog LOVED the yard! A must stay if in the area. Hope to see this family again one day.
A lovely and flat spot in a nice area of town. Wonderful host and fellow RVvanner, so we compared rides. I wish you as much enjoyment in your Promaster as I have in mine. Thanks for a restful night.
Host was not on site but replied to all of our messages promptly. He was generous in offering help, but we were not in need of anything.
The location was easy to get to with plenty of paved parking behind the church for our 2 trucks & trailers. We just needed a place to sleep on our move from FL to NC, but with the tree lined grassy field we felt like we were at a private campground. The smell of honeysuckle in the air made the stay even more delightful.
Clae helped me back in and was a great help. Being able to use electric and water was great !
I may ask for a stay on the way back on the 29th. Thanks !
Great spot in the back of the church. Plenty of space for parking, walking your dog, and for children to play. our host was nice and informative.
Fit my plans perfectly to break up my trip from Florida to NC. Very quiet and peaceful. I packed at the far back behind the church. My dog and I slept peacefully. Thanks.
This was a perfect stopping point, close to I75, nice and level concrete for us to park on. CLAE met us as we pulled in and showed us where to park, offered us a little conversation but he knew it had been a long day of driving for us, so he was very considerate and went in but not before telling us to text, message, or knock on his door if we needed anything. Grateful for all BDW hosts but those last minute hosts are extra special when a family issue arises and all plans change. Would definitely stay here again!
Nice Boondocers location! Was easy to find and very spacious. Host was very accomodating.
Lovely location just a few miles from our route. Very quiet and plenty of space. Didn’t meet our host but communication was great.
Super nice. Great communication. Just an all round wonderful stay. We were just passing through but were made to feel very welcome. Will be back!
C guided us in & showed us where to park. Had to be careful backing into the site because of a low hanging bird feeder & a branch. But able to clear both! VERY LEVEL concrete pad for parking! Easy off & on from I-75, 15 amp electric & water available. We had a full water tank, but the electric hookup was a Godsend because the temps were in the mid-20's to 30's! So we definitely needed our furnace!
Once we were settled, C came to make sure that we were good or if we needed anything! We were able to visit with him for 15+ minutes before he had to get back to unexpected company. I wish we had had more time as we enjoyed his company! We look forward to returning! Thank you, C, for making us feel so welcome!
Great location, accommodating hosts and close to Atlanta area!
It was super quiet and very pleasant. Sort of disappointed our schedule didnt allow us to stay with a Saturday visit. I'm sure church would have been the highlight of our stay. Appreciate the hospitality. Thank you.
Had a very quite stay. The pad where hookups are is only 28'. The parking lot is large but has a good slope so be prepared to unhook to level your rigs. CLAE was away but his pictures showed us everything.
We stayed at this location for one evening and it was very very nice! Even though the owner was not able to be there, he very graciously allowed us to come in to his property and spend the evening. The directions were very detailed and the location was in a nice spot surrounded by trees.
CLAE was an extremely helpful host getting us parked in his great location, Had a great stay on our way to Florida. Sorry for the delay in sending this reference and thanking you for you hospitality. I thought I did. Now, I am playing catch from our return and noticed that it didn't go through. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.
