Hello! We are Ian and Elysa Hellermann. We recently sold our house and are travelling the country in our 1976 Apollo motorhome with our son, Eitan, and a cat named Burt. Ian was a school bus driver and has his CDL, so he does most (ok, all!) of the driving. We are both musicians and have spent years of our lives travelling in tour buses and vans, so RV life is comfortable and familiar to us. We are looking forward to traveling around and showing our son the country!
We'd be happy to play you a song or maybe Ian could even give you a brief guitar lesson. Elysa has a range of administrative skills and is fairly technologically savvy.
Yes - a cat, Burt
Originally from Wisconsin. Just sold our home in Heber City, UT. The Apollo is our primary residence for the time being.
1976 Apollo motorhome, no tow vehicle, no slide-outs. Vintage, neat-looking, well-maintained.
we enjoyed hosting the hellermans and gladly invite them back anytime they are in the neighborhood. due to covid we did not mingle as much as we normally would have. ian and the family, including burt the cat, can drop by anytime we are here. nice quiet family making their way around the country full time in the apollo motorhome.
As in the Woodstock chant - no rain!!! Heavy thundershowers were predicted and out guests brought clearer skies with the rain ( only very light) that waited until after they left. Arrived on predicted time and was set up very quickly. We had a nice time hanging out on the deck in the cool evening. The stay was short but nice. Our bassets got a chance to play with their boy - they do not get enough exposure to other people, especially children, so this was a very nice plus. They mentioned that they travel thru the area a bit so we hope to see them again as they are most welcome. I might even share some more Rakia
We were out of town doing some boondocking of our own when thehellermanns requested a stay. But hey, our place is easy in & out as far as access and parking, so we gave them the run of the farm while we were gone! ;-)
They were good communicators, and I'm just happy to be able to host a young family that's out enjoying our great country.
Nice friendly nomadic family with renovated classic RV. Enjoyed meeting up and they are welcome anytime.
thehellermanns were great guests. Congenial, quiet, respectful of property and neighborhood. They are welcome back any time!
What a sweet family. They came exactly as planned. Was very appreciative of our hosting site. Enjoyed a stroll in the paddleboat and their son checked out the treehouse. They were sweet to offer us soup for dinner but we had already cooked. We shared a campfire and adventures. They are traveling full time and hope to see them in the future. If they come your way please host them, you will truly be blessed.
thehellermanns only had a short stay but in that time we chatted and enjoyed conversation. Their young son thoroughly enjoyed stretching his legs. They are great, considerate guests who are welcome back anytime.
We were very happy to have thehellermanns stay with us while they attended a nearby function. They were very respectful of our property and neighborhood. We were able to "visit from a distance" with them and enjoyed watching their son explore and play.
We hope they can stop by again some time.
Friendly family! Stayed in communication with us prior to their arrival. Very courteous and respectful.
You are welcome back to Haven Hollow anytime! Prayers for you as you continue your journey. We hope to see you again. :)
THEHELLERMANNS is a nice, young couple traveling back to WI with their son,2. They arrived on their ETA, got themselves parked with a slight adjustment from myself to facilitate electrical connection. Due to the extreme 90 F temperatures, I am trying to get each RV onto its own electrical circuit for 20A air conditioning purposes! So far, so good! Only 1 circuit breaker trip this summer and that was 2 @ RV's sharing a circuit in the heat, both with AC's! THEHELLERMANN'S are welcome to return to SPAGHETTI'S ROOST whenever they are in the area.
