As a youngster, our family vacations were camping trips to the Sierras. Four kids, mom and dad heading out in a camper. Later, college, marriage, two kids, career, and then divorce kept me closer to home. Now that I am retired and the kids are grown I am free to travel. My goal is to visit as many National Parks as I can in my Winnebago. Love the idea of being out in the wide-open spaces and seeing all parts of this country.
I do travel with my dog, Mia, who is a beautiful and well-mannered Basenji/Pit mix. She is my constant companion but because pets are not welcome at most National Parks, I leave her home when I cannot arrange for a way to accommodate her needs.
I live in Los Angeles and have never lived anywhere else. A rare native Angeleno.
