Hi all. We're very excited to join the Boondockers Welcome community. Our little RV (named "Bolt") finally arrived this summer after an excurciating 16 month wait! We're looking forward to exploring new places near and far from our home base in beautiful Bend, OR. We are a medically fragile household, so we are respectful of all COVID protocols during these unprecedented times. We're quiet and respectful travelers. We tend to settle down early b/c our days are usually full of adventure - hiking, blackberry picking, paddle boarding, swimming, and appreciating nature.
Hosts, I welcome any questions you have. Best way to reach me is via text on the number you were given.
I wish I had mad RV skills to offer, but if you need human capital or strategic business advice, I'm your person. I also have voices for every Harry Potter character, so if you're looking for someone to read to you (which I know is high on everyone's list), we come with a cast of characters. We're also super crafty if that's up your ally.
We have 3 gerbils, but don't worry, they don't travel with us. We're animal lovers and are always happy to see a wagging tail or farm animals.
We're new to RVing so our experience is limited. Our favorite spot so far was at Pine Mountain Observatory to watch comet Neowise. We also had a fantastic trips to Suttle lake and Fall River, where the kiddo discovered a passion for fly fishing. We love anywhere that's tranquil and beautiful. I foresee many more river/lake trips for my fisherman. :)
Bend, OR: I know, we're pretty lucky!
