We are retired full time travelers. In our previous lives we were school bus drivers and a pre-k teacher. All of us (Michael and Phyllis, a married couple and Barbara, a widow) are very family oriented. We return home in the summer and spend time enjoying family activities. We also do lots of projects for family members and for the church Barbara attends. We are interested in incorporating more volunteer activities into our travels. We love our lifestyle and highly recommend it to others who may be considering full timing.
Michael is a skilled carpenter, former (although now reluctant) auto mechanic, and jack of all trades. Although he loves working with wood, he can also handle a torch and welder when working with metal. Phyllis is a better than amateur cake decorator, seamstress, homemaker and loves many types of crafts including crocheting, knitting and embroidery. She loves many types of games on her computer and is quite good at Sudoku. Barbara has good computer skills and especially enjoys desk top publishing. She is an accomplished cook and also enjoys sewing and crafts.
Almost anywhere. We travel extensively over the US.
For many years we all lived in the small rural town of Prattsburgh in upstate New York. Barbara now considers Canandaigua, NY, her home and Michael and Phyllis claim Penn Yan, NY, as theirs.
We travel and live full time in our 2000 thirty-eight foot Dutch Star Diesel Pusher. It has one large slide and is between 12 and 13 feet high.
