My wife Anne and I are both retired. We have travelled by motorcycle, trawler, and now are enjoying our class B+ van. We’re trying to do 75,000 miles in the next 5 years. Covid has set us back somewhat. We’re going to have to get moving more in 2021
I have Some mechanical skills. I retired from the fabrication business. I have friends still in that business if you need something made for your rig.
We have a dog, and a fenced in back yard for guest animals too.
The closest locations to us are the Texas hill country or the high plains of west Texas. We are planning a trip to Alaska as well as Newfoundland. Time is short and we have miles to go
We will in Nassau Bay, Texas. Johnson space center is a 10 minute walk. All manner of shopping is close by. This is a quiet treed neighborhood. It is very pleasant for walking. We are a short 10 minute drive from Galveston bay, and a 25 minute drive to the beaches of Galveston island.

We had a great time with our guests. We hope they can come back again. We may be able to visit them once we get back on the road!
This was our first stay using BW and our hosts made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the space center and very easy to find and park. The hosts treated us like family! We had a great evening sharing stories and travel tips. We will meet again, here or on the road.
Our stay with Kchurchill was so nice. Our hosts shared a meal with us and we had great conversations. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved checking out Galveston one day and Kemah Boardwalk the next.
They are but another fine example of what makes BW so great!
Could not get to meet in person, but an awesome host..! Had a great conversion on the phone about motorcycle rides. Will definitely visit and meet in person next time.
Just like meeting old friends! Ann welcomed us with her beautiful cheerful smile and a wonderful meal. That was such a gift after the long trip from Mobile AL, to Nassau Bay TX. Kevin, after having surgery two days prior to our arrival, was equally as welcoming. He helped us with our route and suggested places to see along the way. Since they have the same kind of engine in their motorhome, as we do. He was very knowledgeable. It came in very handy the next day, when our starter went out. Ann took Roy to pick up a new starter at an auto parts store. That we had installed on Monday. They were more than happy to take us wherever we need to go. We were so blessed to have this happen at their location. Ann also took us to the Space Center and then came and picked us up. They blessed us so very much with their kindness. They are an exemplary couple and we are truly grateful to have had them in our path.
We appreciated the hosts and sharing their site. They were waiting for us to arrive and help us back in to their location. As noted in their description you need to be able to back up your rig. We have a 17' Casita, our tow vehicle is a F150 4 door and we were able to get in easily. Enjoyed our conversation about family and travels. Also had the use of electric and water.
We came in the middle of the recent winter storms. Arrived when power was off and on but hosts still allowed us to come, stay, and even extend our stay since local things were (understandably) closed. Space Center is a short walk. Nice neighborhood to walk, and of course the best part was the hospitality. We’ve done a bunch of BW stays in the past two months but these hosts went above and beyond, including rides, showers, food, and chance to do laundry. Can’t thank you enough!
[Names redacted] were the most welcoming hosts I've had the pleasure of staying with. They were flexible to my changing schedule and welcomed me into their home immediately...extremely kind forward thinking helpful folks and Houston is diverse w so much to do - highly recommend.
This is a great stay! The hosts are kind and a lot of fun to get to know. The spot is located in a good place to explore Houston or take a day trip to Galveston.
We were extremely pleased with our stay at Nassau Bay Texas. We were welcomed with open arms and spent time visiting and getting to know these wonderful people and hearing their amazing stories! We walked to the Space Center since we were so close and it was great. We would recommend this beautiful spot to any travelers in the area.
Like meeting old friends for the first time... our hosts were friendly, interesting, and generous. We would have loved to have visited longer but, with social distancing protocols and our later than planned arrival, we had to cut our visit short. The neighborhood was lovely and felt very safe. We were close to the Houston Space Center (next time) and Galveston. We'll be sure to stop here again.
