I'm a career and leadership development professional who is not retired but can work remotely. I'm a CA native; my son is off to college and I've recently begun traveling in my 18ft [email protected] travel trailer - mostly in the Western states. I primarily boondock so I can spend time in nature while I live and work.
I'm a "Calling Coach" - a coach supporting professionals, usually midlife, who are navigating big career and life reinventions. I also have experience as a leadership coach and trainer - with a specialty in working with American Indian Tribes. Longtime nature photographer. Have just gotten into Wing Foiling, and love to scuba dive as well.
Yes. Just one kitty, Sanaa, who is leash trained. She stays in the trailer unless we're out for a walk.
The Sierra and the Southwest - ideally near lakes, rivers, or hot springs.
Eastern Sierra, Lake Isabella and Kern River in the Southern Sierra, Flagstaff, AZ, Imperial Dam LTVA (winter), Joshua Tree Nat. Park, Southern Utah.
Still my first year on this adventure...
North Fork, CA - near the Southern gate to Yosemite.
A cute, self-contained, teardrop travel trailer ([email protected] 400 from NuCamp) - pulled by a Ford Ranger. No slideouts.
Great Guest. Welcome back anytime, we're all in this together hope to see Rikki in the forest or in town this week.
RikkH was a great guest that started communication before arrival, continued during his stay and alerted us as to his departure. Very pleasant, thoughtful and generous guest. He is welcome back anytime.
RikkH stayed for a second time and was a wonderful guest again. He's welcome any time he's passing through!
Rikk is a great guest, fun to talk to with a very calm demeanor. He is quiet and self reliant. He and his very cool cat are welcome here any time!
Guest was very communicative about arrival. Cute trailer with great solar set up. Very nice man. Left me a lovely, unexpected gift upon leaving! Wish I was able to speak with him more.
Nice meeting a very kind and sincere boondocker traveling with the cutest kitty companion. This was my first for meeting a traveling kitty!
Unfortunately with the prediction of high heat coming the next day RIkkH shortened his stay to travel to cooler weather.
He and his cute little companion are always welcome to return.
It was a brief visit .and hardly knew he was here. Would welcome him back anytime .Good luck in your travels
RikkH was a very nice easy going guy, and we only got to talk for a little bit. I was busy and he was shopping for a winter spot to hang out for a while. I would welcome him back anytime.
Really nice man traveling in a super cool tear drop. 1st time boondocker! He has a really nice set up with solar. We were bummed to not get a chance to get to know him. The heatwave and pandemic kept us a bit isolated. Very respectful and thoughtful! He was super communicative on his arrival and we really appreciated that. He even left his 50amp to 30amp converter for us after he heard the last one was taken by a guest. Thank You! Come again!
