Tina & Howard Skager

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Howard and I are traveling and Workamping across America. We hope to enter Volunteer Disaster Recovery work and Domestic Service work in the coming year. Howard is former military with 20+ years of service and Tina is a retired corporate employee with several years of technical work history and creative endeavors under her hat

We are both very respectful, clean, quiet, Christian adults.
We travel with one loveable dog (black lab/Jack Russell mix) that Tina rescued from a shelter as a puppy and a couple of indoor only cats.
Our motorhome is a Fleetwood Storm, 31 feet long with 2 slides. We have two toads we alter between, either a Jeep Wrangler or a Chevy Spark.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Howard was a Sgt. in the military commanding a crew of Helicopter Mechanics so he is handy with a wrench. He also possesses landscaping and maintenance skills. Tina is a jack (Jane) of all trades. She worked 9 years with IBM and is VERY comfortable with computer software, she has personally remodeled 3 of her former homes, and most recently retired from a Metrology Lab Technician position. Her favorite area though is animal care - growing up as a Farm Kid she has always been around animals and is VERY HAPPY and comfortable caring for them, cleaning up after them and even the occasional medication or shots needed (sub-Q only). Tina has also been known to whip up a few worthy "goodies" in the kitchen too.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Very new to Fulltiming, mostly Walmart locations and State Parks so far.

tlcamp's Hometown

Official residents of South Dakota now but Howard grew up in North Dakota & Montana and Tina grew up in Ohio & Minnesota. We Love the four seasons and especially the fall colors of the Mississippi valley states.
