I am newly retired and looking forward to exploring all three American coasts in the coming year.
I like to cook and bake, particularly bread and pastries! I could offer you a sketch of your home....
Boondocking is new to me. I have been to Mexico and travelled across Canada a few times. Have explored the east coast of Canada in the last few years. I prefer secondary highways and small towns that offer opportunities of meeting people. I like to paint and write and hope to engage in these activities daily while traveling.
I live in Antigonish, Nova Scotia - a small University town just 1/2 hour away from world reknowned Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail!
I drive a VW Westphalia. It is a 1984 in pretty good condition. I keep thinking that I have replaced all the parts I need to but there always seems to be one more...
Gandrew only spent a single day/night with us. We spend several hours chatting that evening. We enjoyed her company very much. I highly recommend her as a guest.
Gail stopped by for one night and was a very welcomed visitor. Her schedule was tight so she had to arrive late evening and depart early morning. That was easily understood and we recommend her very highly as a guest for others, and hope she has the opportunity to visit with us again. The VW camper she owns has always been one of our favorites. Good luck Gail as you continue your travels . JC and Mina
Gail was delightful. She stayed a couple of nights. She didn't require anything. I hope she returns someday. Nice experience.
Very nice person. No fuss, no problem. Would fit in, no matter the situation.
Gail is delightful. She is a retired, smart, articulate professional, yet completely down to earth. Her little VW Westie takes up very little space, so she can easily fit anywhere a standard car can park. We enjoyed lighthearted conversations, yet touched on several serious and poignant topics relating to our individual life experiences. I'd rate her as a premium guest and she's been invited back should she pass through this way again. if she contacts you requesting to stay at your place, if you have the time and space available, I highly recommend that you invite her. You'll be the winner. Ed, Professional Nomad
Gail contacted us on her way south to warmer weather (wish I was able to hide in her VW to that weather.) Unfortunately the weather was damp and raining for her stay. Really enjoyed the chats we had and as long as we are still here she is welcome anytime. Safe travel to you, till we meet again. Chris & Cheri. Would recommend Gail to stay.
