Wade and I love meeting interesting new people. We both still run businesses, so we're only able to host part-time. We both travel separately in our own rigs and then also together when we can. We are well read, love to travel and enjoy the great outdoors, exploring, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing and Wade loves to make stuff. I am a big Foodie!! We love to share all the awesome things there are to do here in Northern Nevada and are great tourguides! We have a lovely backyard, we sit on 2/3 of an acre and are willing to share it with folks. We are just fixing up the back part of our yard where we used to have our 2 horses into an area to host BoonDockers. We've got a cute little porch with a big ole homemade chimitanga that Wade created (thats our word for a giant chiminea to have a fire in!
Both Wade and I have lived here in Northern Nevada for over 40 years, so we know the area and all of the fabulous things there are to do.
Wade is a Geologist, history buff, a voracious reader and problem solver, Jack of all trades, always building and creating things!
I'm a Human Behavior Consultant, Self Care Educator, Explorer, Foodie and excellent tour guide!
Our 10 year old Border Collie Maggie will definelty check you out when your here, but then she will get used to you... and pretty much just hangs out with Wade or myself, as she's kinda shy!
I travel alone quite a bit, and when I do, I have no pets.
We hang our hats here in the Virginia Foothills, just on the outskirts of Reno Nevada! In just 50 minutes, you can be at beautiful Lake Tahoe, we're 20 minutes from Virginia City, 20 minutes to downtown Reno, and 20 minutes to Carson City (the capital of Nevada, most folks think Vegas is the capital!)
2018 Dark Gray Winnebago Travato Van.. on a Dodge Promaster chassis. fully self contained with solar, propane, generator, and electric and water hookups.
Friendly and cheerful couple even after a long difficult day of travel. Briefly met them to direct them to a parking spot for the night. Left early the next morning for their next destination. Would definitely welcome them to stop off again.
