Our lives have included family and solitude, life in the North West and life in Mexico, travel in North America, in SE Asia, So America, and Europe. We are interested in meeting those who travel and perhaps adding to their trip and adventures, as others contributed to ours. We hope to offer a place to sleep, without contact concerns, during these interesting times.
We have no pets but well behaved pets are welcome.
We tow a Jeep.
The host was kind, warm, and so welcoming. He allowed our dogs to run around in his backyard and checked in with us to ask if we needed anything. The location is close to downtown and all the happenings! We only stayed the night and left in the morning. This place was a great stay for us!
We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return again when we can. We had a couple of wonderful chats with NWHideout and they gave us some suggestions on places to visit in the Bend area along with some suggestions for locations for some boondocking sites in the area. This was our first experience with Boondockers Welcome and if our stay at NW Hideout is any indication of what we can expect at other host sites, the membership is money well spent.
These hosts are beyond nice. We had a pleasant chat about our similar vans and they were super friendly and hospitable. I would love to stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay in the quiet oasis of Carm Lane thanks to the generous hospitality of this couple. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the pull through driveway under giant pines made for a great visit to Bend,OR. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home! Please come to western NC so we can return the hospitality!
We enjoyed our stay! We never did get to meet them but we appreciate their hospitality!
Where we didn't get to cross paths with our host it was a perfect place to land our TT for 3 days. Hopefully next time we can meet and share a beer or glass of wine or? There is nothing like the smell of Ponderosa Pine in the morning!
Thank you NWHideout
Perfectly level and quiet and safe neighborhood respite just outside of town. Unfortunately we did not get to meet the hosts as they were traveling but they generously let us stay on their property in spite of that. Loved Bend and this location and would definitely recommend!
It's every BW host that make this traveling life so special. P&L were off on their own camping adventure but allowed me to stay as I requested. Plus they said I could stay one more day, bonus! It was an easy pull thru under pine trees in a very quiet neighborhood. I was able to speak with these kind folks and get a few pointers on where to park while exploring the area. It's a stunningly beautiful town! Less than 30 minutes east I ventured up to Tumalo falls. Easy 1/4 mile walk to the lookout, wow! So much to see! Thank you so much, enjoy your golf day!
Nice shady pull through spot in a quiet neighborhood. Short drive to the river and the Old Mill District. Friendly informative hosts. Great RARE spot when visiting Bend. Water and 110 power at the house if needed.
