Myself: Born and raised and spent most of my life in Baytown, Texas, my grandparents all came to this area to work in the booming oil industry. I graduated from Texas A & M with a degree in Environmental Design, just a fancy name for Architectural Design, I have been a carpenter, home builder and contractor which is my true love. I took a medical retirement in 1995 after having open heart surgery at age 38 years. The surgery caused much pain for many years and still effects my life today.
Wife: Born and raised in Baytown, Her parents rented a room from my grandparents before she was born. She is a retired art teacher who spents her time making and selling wooden art.
Five friends for life, they don't know their dogs.
Both born and raised in Baytown, growing crazy in the last few years.
Tiffin 35QBA, 36 foot.
Boondocking is amazing. Thank you for offering up your place!
They are a very friendly couple with a very large drive way. They provided us with a 30amp and water. Would stay again!
We had a lovely, quiet stay in East Harris County Texas. Bill & his wife were very nice. We had plenty of room in his driveway to park. He offered us 30 amp service and water, if needed. His directions were great. We eat at the Burger Barn which was awesome. They made us feel very welcome. Thank you!
Shirley greeted me & my pet, Scout, helped direct me to back-in their extra wide driveway spot. My Class C is 22' w no tow & fit perfectly and didn't block her garage access. We walked around back, visited about RVing, their home and my trip and met Bill. You Park in front to the side, facing road and they graciously offered 30 or 50 amp hookup & nearby water faucet. Very inviting. They returned to their woodworking, and I walked my dog around their country-roads/residential area then settled in my Rig. Road somewhat busy but quieted down at sundown as residential areas often do. Would recommend them as nice hosts for an overnight in a smaller RV or camper. Thank you again; really helped me! JT
Great hosts!. Communicated well with clear instructions. Would recommend that guests have no tow and a rig no longer than 30 feet.
Great location to get to with no hassles re parking. Owners were kind and welcoming and gave us the space to settle and the comfort of a quiet nights sleep. Much appreciated.
We had a very positive experience. The host was friendly and helped us to set up. It was easy to back into the drive way that had 50 A and water. Safe and calm place.
We are new members to this community and this was our first BW experience. The homeowners were very friendly and welcoming, helping us get everything in the right place and leaving us to do whatever we needed to do. They made our experience our own, as if we were the only ones there and we could come and go as we pleased without awkwardness. The home and neighborhood is beautiful and serene, not too far from the city and was simply a tranquil spot for us to wind down from touring the busy city and especially while working away on business. Great hosts and would certainly recommend them to anyone! Thank you for a great first BW experience!
We called right before our arrival and were given better directions than our Garmin. We had a very peaceful and quite 2 nights here. We just wish we could have spent more time with our hosts. This is a country setting in a small city. I would love to stay here again someday.
Very accommodating. We showed up in the dark and they were very gracious had everything ready for us. Quiet neighborhood besides a few dog barks here and there. Thank you.
They were very warm host for our overight. They were smily and kind. We enjoyed our bike ride in the neiborhood and it was beautiful and quiet. Thank you to both of you. If we have to come back, we certainly come to your place again.
