I am a new RVer, traveled 9k miles since I got it in September 2019. I work 100% remote and spend lots of hours working but then life hiking. Swimming and long walks with my dog. I am happily divorced and sometimes my sister and her little pug mix dog tag along with our trips.
I am a person who probably works too hard but loves to have fun too. I am recently certified in mental health first aid, think of it as first responders for a mental health situation. I recently finished the interior of my shed turned pool house - so now I can use some power tools :).
Yes I have a dog I rescued while in Mississippi. She is a hound terrier mix and has gone through a 1 month boot camp so that she can go anywhere with me. I believe a dog owner should always pickup poop because it is a way that other dogs can catch unknown parasites or worms.
I am new but will update as I get them / right now just use flying J’s, pilot and Walmart lots
Oak Hill, VA . . . Fairfax county Virginia - right next to Dulles international airport. It is close a pet farm park (2 blocks) with walking and horse trials and close to many other fun things to do.
Thor siesta 24sr - quest simple people - usually me and maybe a sister and my dogs
we spent a few nights here while visiting d.c. (a short trip away) and we were blown away by our hosts willingness to help with everything from where to go, what to see, and even a few necessities for the road. We spent time chatting about travels, and playing with her adorable dogs!
CrzyTravelBum was so welcoming and her property is beautiful and quite the perfect place to spend a night or two. I was her first guest and you'd have thought she was a pro. An instant friend and a pool steps from your front door... what more could you ask for? Thank you so much for the conversations and pleasant stay!
