We are new to the RV lifestyle. Because our family is located all over the US and Canada we now feel the pull to hit the road. We bought a 2001 25' Airstream Excella and decided to retire from teaching this year. We are both looking forward to our travels around the US and are excited to meet new people and tell stories around a campfire. We love the great outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, exploring, surfing, sailing, etc.

Presently we live in apple country, the hills of LaFayette, NY located 10 min from Syracuse and 15 min from Skaneateles. Mark has been a high school Technology Design teacher for the last 33 years with a side business in construction and built our home in 2006. Jacquie was a legal secretary, then homeschooled our 2 daughters and worked several side businesses in health, interior painting & cleaning. After our girls graduated from homeschool and college, to our surprise, they landed in Colorado Springs where they absolutely love it.

The Nicest People, and Sweetest Dog

Mark and Jacquie showed up, with their Airstream floor in bad shape after a water pump leak..... which ruined part of their new Pergo floor. I just did what anyone would do, let them stay, dry it out and use my tools to replace the bad part. While here, Mark and his brother were able to fix my automatic gate which was a bonus. These people are lovely, I miss having them around now.... Sam misses Grace, the pup, too. If you get an opportunity to host them, don't pass it up.
