Do you know or have you hosted this user?

I love the outdoors in the winter snowmobiling and in the summer camping and travelling with my wife. We usually spend 30 - 40 nights in a trailer. We have had trailers all our married life with kids grown up and trailers of their own. Since 2011 we are a 2 trailer family as we purchased a "Little Guy" teardrop. We pull it with a diesel car. Very cost effective for the long runs and effortless to drive.

Great stay!!

Our stay at Mapletrees was more than we expected. The hosts were so much fun to talk to and we had conversation for hours. We had so much fun hearing their travel stories and sharing adventures. They were both very accommodating and made you feel like home. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we are in the area.

Enthusiastic Hosts

A shady, maple-lined driveway and a corn field on one side made for a very pleasant parking spot. The available 30A connection was much appreciated. Our hosts have traveled in many different RV configurations over the years and clearly enjoyed every journey. The day ended with a lively conversation around the fire pit during which many of the world's problems were solved. Would be more than happy to return.

Lovely Couple

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mapletree. They made us feel welcome the entire time we were there. We felt like we had known them all along as the conversation was very natural. So much so that the day we were packing to leave, we stood around and chatted for a couple of hours. They have a beautiful country spot as well that is close to Lake Erie. We would stay there again for sure!

A Great Stopover

Mapletrees were most welcoming hosts. The electrical cord was awaiting us on a level and shaded parking spot in front of their trailer when we arrived. We had good conversations comparing past camping adventures and future plans. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Quiet boondocking spot and Friendly Hosts

Mapletrees are a very friendly couple, who had welcomed us with hydro and water hookups ready to go, before we even got there. They helped us back in our rig from the road, and then later we shared camping stories over a couple drinks in their garage. We would love go back again sometime.

Peaceful sleep under the Mapletrees

Thanks to our wonderful hosts, Mapletrees, for their hospitality.
Beautiful property in the country, close to sandy beaches and Port Burwell Provincial Park. Hosts offered many suggestions as to local attractions, best beaches and markets in the area. A great place for Boondocking!
Definitely would recommend if in the area.

Wonderful Boondockers Welcome experience

Martin & Hettie made us feel so welcome. From the time we pulled into Maple Tree shaded lane, our time at Mapletrees was very pleasant.

They offered water, hydro and Wifi (none were needed - dry camping all the way for us).
Hettie even gave us some of the fruits of her large garden. They invited us to join them at their campfire where we enjoyed trading travel stories and experiences. We were their 1st experience as BDW hosts. Hopefully, we left a good impression.
