I am a mostly-retired Occupational Therapist, My wife is a retired Occupational Therapy Assistant. We are very people oriented and love to meet and socialize with new people. We don't smoke or drink.
As an Occupational Therapist I have worked in a hospital, nursing home, outpatient clinic and a rehab center. I am able to give advise about rehabilitation needs and some basic medical information. Keep in mind I am not a doctor so some of the information I give will be my opinion and I will tell you so when it is only opinion. I can help with improving ability to perform daily activities through alternative techniques or use of adaptive equipment. I am becoming more knowledgeable about Class A motor diesel homes in general.
We have a dog that is a mix between an Airedale Terrier and a German Wire Haired Pointer. She weighs approx. 45 lbs. We also have a Quaker parrot, about the size of a cockatiel. We travel with both of them. Our dog is like us, very layed back. She is not a barker when we are gone. When we are present she will let us know if somethings is amiss.
We live in Lufkin, Tx
Winnebago Journey 39K Class A diesel pusher. We flat tow a Honda CRV. Yes, this is a big motor home and requires approx 13 ft. of overhead clearance for trees (due to items on top, extra room to turn/maneuver). Not able to negotiate steep driveways from a fairly flat road, will drag the back or front of the motor home. We sometimes carry a 15 ft. canoe on top of the Honda. Hook ups are nice, but not a necessity.
We enjoyed their visit. Lots of stories to exchange. Would be welcome again..
