Hi! We are a married couple in our mid-late 30s who started living on the road full time in 2019. We started our travel journey living in a '92 Chevy van but upgraded to a RV in January 2020. We travel with our senior min-pin/chihuahua named Samson. We both work remotely which allows us to explore the country full time. Anthony is an online professor for Penn State University and Karri is a life coach, former licensed mental health therapist, and podcast host (Down To Wander). Due to working remotely, we typically require access to either Verizon or AT&T on work days and utilize a cell booster as needed. In our free time, we enjoy hiking, biking, exploring new towns, meeting new people, and going to farmers markets, flea markets, and live music events. We are fully vaccinated for Covid and are respectful of others' comfort levels. We share our travels on social media if you're interested in learning more about us and our travels (Facebook: Down To Wander and Instagram: down.to.wander). Look forward to meeting you!
Karri is a life coach and comfortable talking about stress management and relaxation techniques. She loves getting to know people and establishing deeper connections. So much so that her podcast is all about having conversations with people about vulnerability, their personal lives, struggles, and breakthroughs. Karri is also a big animal lover and would gladly offer dog sitting and/or cuddles. Anthony enjoys photography as a hobby and may be open to taking pictures of your property for Boondockers Welcome purposes. He is much more introverted than Karri so we're a nice balance.
Yes, we have a senior min-pin/chihuahua named Samson.
Our favorite boondocking locations thus far have been outside of the Badlands in South Dakota and outside of Sedona, Arizona.
We live on the road full time so home is where we park it, but our last sticks and bricks was in Denver, Colorado. We are originally from the northeast. Anthony grew up in New York and Karri grew up in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Louisiana.
We have a 2015 25 foot class C RV with no slides. We have solar so we typically don't need hookups (unless it's been cloudy for several days or we need to utilize AC). We also have a small sedan that we drive separately.
We had a great experience with Down to Wander and would love to have them back the next time they are in the area. They and their dog are very friendly and polite.
Nice couple. They were very interesting to talk to. Quiet and clean. We would welcome them back anytime.
Absolutely love our visit with the nomadic couple and hearing about their travels. We enjoyed hearing about working on the road is possible. We were honored to be their first BW host. They were very quiet and left with absolutely NO traces. They are always welcome to return
