My wife and I are retired nurses. We have enjoyed many years of various traveling experiences. We have worked as travel nurses from Alaska to the US Virgin Islands. We lived on our sailboat for 5 years sailing around the Caribbean, We both are originally from North Carolina, NCSU graduates, and still have a home there we use as our base. We travel primarily in the summers to escape the hot/humid weather in NC. We enjoy the Western US, Rocky Mountain regions, but also travel to all sections of the US and Canada.

PREVOST40 arrived in the middle of a WY gully washer, complete with small hail and lightning! After waiting for a half-hour for the storm to abate, he inquired about the firmness of our site due to the significant weight of his rig. After assuring him that the site was as solid as concrete, I left him to situate his rig. A short while later, a knock on the door indicated that a front-wheel was stuck in an area where a recently donated older car had been sitting for many years, the only small patch of ground on a 5+ acre lot that was at all vulnerable! We offered our 4WD diesel Ford F-250, but he preferred to call a towing service. The wrecker that arrived was larger than his rig and promptly freed him to reposition his coach. He then requested the use of a rake so that he could "repair his divot"! Totally unnecessary, but good-spirited and super considerate of our "prairie"! They are welcome to return anytime if they are not too wary of doing so. Fellow sailors as my wife and I owned and sailed a 41' Beneteau out of the British Virgin Islands for 20 years! Hopefully, we can spin some yarns on a future visit! Becky & George
