Patsi and I are both from Iowa and after many years of dreaming about seeing this great country of ours, decided to retire, sell everything and hit the road, starting our full-time adventure 14Jul14. After installing solar power on the roof we are on a constant search for new boondocking spots away from the noise of the city.

Mark retired after 30+ years with John Deere, but went back on a three year contract with an offer that was too good to pass up, working with some of the overseas factories. While way too many frequent flyer miles to count, Mark was able to spend some time exploring Russia, Netherlands, Rome, Milan, Paris, Zurich, Venice, the Netherlands and many places in Germany.

Patsi retired after 39 years in the Dental field and keeps busy with her 1 hour Laser Teeth Whitening practice while on the road.

We both love to bicycle and have done many week long rides such as "Ride the Rockies", "Tour of Colorado" and "Cycle Zydeco". We left our touring bikes with friends, but do have our mountain bikes along to do some exploring.

We have been amazed with meeting so many great people who are also enjoying this great country. We are looking forward to making many more new friends in the coming years.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Quartzite for the big tent rally and to meet up new RV friends. Mittry Lake near Yuma, Tonto & Sitgreaves National Forest Land and various BLM lands.

good conversation!

It was nice to sit on the front porch and visit and learn about these folks interesting lives. Full timers with a road quest and looking to wander..... Laid back and easy to talk to. Took me on a tour of their absolutely huge rig, felt like I had walked into one of those small Harry Potter tents with a limitless interior! Can you believe it? A 2 bathroom moho!!!!!! Fun folks!!
