We are recently retired people who have a mission to see as much of the world as we can. We would also like to see as many of the attractions and sights that there is to offer in the US and Canada and trailering seems to be the best way to see the sights, meet new people and experience the vastness and treasures our countries have to offer.
We are originally Albertans who came to Ontario with the job and stayed. We love our home, we have great friends and we are as far away from the Canadian winters as we can get in Canada!
We have owned and renovated 13 homes and we also owned and operated a Home Hardware store in Port Burwell so we are both pretty knowledgeable about renovations and products that are available for building and repairing.
Tillsonburg Ontario is (or rather was) the home of tobacco farming in Canada. Until recently tobacco was king and now it is a sideline to many of the farmers in the area. We are 25kms from the shores of Lake Erie and our town has been named the place with the highest ratio of seniors in Ontario. It is a quiet town of 13000 but we have all the amenities that we need and some that we don't need. London is only 45 minutes away for the "really don't need" items.
We have a 30' Cougar 5th wheel trailer with dual push outs (1 on each side) It is 12 years old but everything in it works well. Our truck is a GMC 3/4 ton diesel crew cab that pulls the trailer very well.
