Wish we could have met the host, but he was very generous to allow us to stay while he was away. Electric hookup was a blessing to allow us to run our AC as we experienced some warmer weather.
In the evenings we had a family of quail visit and even had a doe walk through the property right out our front door.
A nice and quiet place to stay.
Easy access. Quiet area.
We will definitely stay again if possible
We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay here. It’s a beautiful location on above the city. We were able to park our 40 foot 5th wheel no problem.
This is a very nice place to stay. Easy to get into and out. Quite peaceful. A very nice host. If I get back to the area I will certainly try and stay here again.
This is a nice place to stay, quite peaceful. Easy to get in and out of. If I’m in the area again I will certainly reach out to them to stay.
Hosts were on a trip of their own but were still gracious enough to allow us to stay. Just wish we could have met them. Maybe next time we are in the neighborhood.
Best Boondocker Welcome host around. Shade and 30 amp power provided to keep us cool on a 100 degree day. Many thanks & we hope to meet again.
We really enjoyed our stay with HinklePrineville. He was such a welcoming host with whom we had an immediate affinity. We loved sitting on the porch enjoying the sunset. We plan to visit again!
This was our first boondockers stay. He was welcoming, kind and generous. The sunsets from his place are spectacular. Great experience!
Perfect location for our quick stop as we head south in Oregon. Wish we would've had more time to check out the area. Easy directions to follow, plenty of space to park our rig, and our kids loved playing catch with their baseball in the yard. Thank you!
From the moment we arrived the host was very helpful in getting us parked and set up.
Electric and water provided and parking was next to his garage which is partially shaded. 3 miles from town in a very quiet neighborhood.
FOLLOW his driving directions only. DO NOT deviate and you can not go wrong. Google will have you take a different direction. FOLLOW his directions.
Our host is a member of Habit for Humanity and we got to share his experiences and we will be looking up how to join.
One if the nice things our hist provided was a list of things in the town we might need. Grocery, gas, laundry, etc. very nice thing to have since this is our first time here.
We really enjoyed our shirt stay here and look forward to coming back some day.
Look no further for generous, accommodating hosts in a stunning, mountainous setting. It was a treat to stay with experienced and knowledgeable RVers, and a bonus to learn about the RV communities that contribute to Habitat for Humanity projects. We would definitely stay again.
Sometimes the best places that you visit are the ones you know nothing about. We had no expectations about Prineville when we came here, but we quickly discovered what a hidden gem this place is. So much to see and do around here, and our host gave us a list of great places to check out. We felt like we quickly became part of this wonderfully warm community.
Great location. Easy to park and get set up. Big rig friendly. All of the amenities of home.
Be sure to watch the sunsets over Mount Jefferson from the front yard. Magical!
Thank you so much for a great visit.
With so many great visits with BW hosts, Hilltop Acres is prime example of what makes this such a great experience. This site is easy access, with a great view of the mountains and beautiful sunsets. He welcomed us as if we were family. We definitely will be back.
Tom has an amazing set up and a phenomenal view. Would highly recommend this stop. Thank you Tom!
Thank you for being so welcoming and flexible! See you again soon!
We love coming here! The view is amazing, and the host is so welcoming and friendly! The neighborhood is quiet with a rare car that drives by. We heard coyotes in the distance one night, and I enjoyed a beautiful walk one morning. Thank you!
We were so pleasantly surprised when arriving at our guests home. We actually arrived prior to our guest arriving home from a trip, but the communication was spot on for our arrival.
We recommend this place for anyone that loves a beautiful view, a very clean and manicured location with great company from a great host!
View of snow capped Mt Washington, great hosts, electric and water. What more could you want! If needed you can dump your tanks at the Crook County RV park in Prineville for $10.
Mr Hinkle was very accommodating on short notice even though he wasn't there. Very nice place, great views. Will stop again when back in the area.
Nice place, easily accessible on a hill. Quiet and peaceful, would recommend
Such a great stay! Beautiful property nice and quiet. Host was awesome!
What a kind host! He was gracious and generous with his welcome, assisting us to get set with electricity and water on the shady side of the big barn.
We joined him, physically distant as appropriate, on his deck to watch the sunset at his invitation.
He went out of his way to draw maps and give directions to great camping Spots or other places of interest to us.
Thank you and bless you for being a great host!
Tom was an amazing host. Greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. He provided FHU
He gave us suggestions on sites to see. He is s very knowledgeable person with RV's. A beautiful view over the valley and the town. Sunsets were beautiful over the mountain peaks. Highly recommend this location.
What a great spot! We could see several mountaintops in the distance, and spent one day driving in the Ochocos. Having hookups was an added bonus, and Hinkle’s friendly greeting and knowledge of the area was welcomed.
There was plenty of room to social distance, and a safe neighborhood to walk in. The yard is full of whimsical decorations, twisted pieces of wood, unique rocks and beautiful flowers.
It was so nice to spend the night in such a beautiful place, with no traffic sounds or bright lights. Our morning alarm was a birdsong outside our window.
Thank you. We will definitely be back!
