Gus and I are 1st time RVers, after having done a TON of research, purchased our 26rs class C. Looking forward to a 2-3 month trip from CA, up to WA, over to Yellowstone, down through Utah and then over through Southwest to visit aging parents in Louisiana. We are 48 and 62 years old respectively and very low-key, self sufficient, respectful folks. Neither of us drink, and our dog Becky is also a great traveler. We are very much looking forward to the great outdoors adventure. We have made reservations in RV parks for the major National Park stops, as availability will most likely be very limited, and hoping to do some boondocking/dry-camping along the way to stay in some great spots, meet some wonderful people and save a little $$ too. We hope you will consider having us as your guests and very much appreciated the consideration and service you so graciously offer. Thank you. Thor, Gus, and Becky-dog.
Amateur photographer. Play a little guitar and really a pretty good tech guy, so if anyone needs help hooking up a song system, configuring their Alexa, or speakers, etc.....I like doing that kind of thing. I also like helping plan trips, as travel is a passion and I know how to find great deals and travel inexpensively....tips and tricks. Gus is an amazing gardener. He can touch and plant (or just get near it) and it will flourish. He's got that special touch. We've both done extensive travel around the world (just not RVing yet). Becky is just about the cutest dog you've ever seen, so he is really quite good at melting hearts, and tongue facials (if desired).
Yes, on dog - Becky. She is a rescue - got her when she was 4 months old. She is now 7 months old and a delight. She has been everywhere with us, on drives, parks, with other dogs and people and very sociable. She is not a barker, and is very good on her leash.
TBD......hopefully you're place :) Will start developing out list, so we can share and give back.
Fremont, Bay Area, California; however, just sold out house and will relocate after this road trip.
2016 Coachman Freelander 26rs. Totally self-contained with small slide out for bed length extension.
Truly enjoyed having the THOKEN248 family here for 2 evenings and welcome them back should they ever be back in this part of the country. Communicated up front, were completely respectful, quiet, but more importantly, enjoyable to visit with while here. We hope our paths cross with them again in the future.
It was raining on the afternoon the arrived, so I didn't get as much time to get to know them as I would have liked.
They notified me of their expected arrival time ..... and were very close to the estimated time.
They are welcome back if they travel this way again. :)
Relaxed and quiet couple. We shared a good conversation. Super easy going and I wish we had more time. We had some common music interests and could have spoke for hours. Welcome back anytime!
Very pleasant stay. Quiet and clean. Welcome back anytime. Safe travels guys!

Quiet ,friendly folk with well behaved little dog, we enjoyed their coffee, and wish them happy travels. We would welcome them back.
Never knew they were here. Left the spot as it was found.
Great communication, timely arrival, great attitude in the pouring rain! Welcome back any time.
Their stay was quick but we did have a great conversation. Great people and amazing coffee.
thoken248 was only here for one night. A short stay this time but we hope they find they're way back real soon. It was a pleasure to meet them both and visit while they were here. Hope all is going well, come back and see us again soon.
So happy to have Thoken and family here. They were quiet and respectful of our COVID 19 concerns. There puppy is a sweetie! They were interesting toast and talk with. We wish them the best of luck in there journey to find a new home base. Come back any time!!
