We do welcome visitors to our area.
We are located only 30-35 miles from Death Valley National Park.
Although there are very few services available here, it makes a great place to set-up a base camp.
Since we live here, we do provide reasonable security to the property.
Many hours as a pilot of both general aviation aircraft and ultralight aircraft.

Yes. We have one very friendly dog.

Anywhere in the high country around Flagstaff or Northern California.
Currently our home town is the place we live - Trona, Ca.
We spent our very first night on our trip at the Trona Airport. George and Colin (and the dogs) were super friendly and helped us park and get settled in. We really enjoyed talking with them both, and can't say enough good things about them. We loved the convenience of the pilots' lounge too. It's a beautiful and tranquil spot and we'd definitely stop here again.
If you are anywhere near this area you HAVE to stay here! Angel driver and Staff are fantastic and extremely helpful. Being our first Boondocking Welcome experience the bar is set super high now. They allowed us to use our generator during the day and at night, set us up in our own area with a great view. Gave us a tour and history of the airport and even offered water and AC in the pilots lounge if we wanted to use it. We greatly appreciate them and how at home they made us feel while we were there. Thank you!
