Whispering Pines is a beautiful quiet setting. If you like quiet and to be entertained with deer, this is a good site to try.
Todd guide us and made sure that we were set up and comfortable. The only negative was the whole area lacks cell service, but just enjoy the deer.
If quiet is what you seek, this is the spot. Very convenient, not far from the highway and easy to find. Appreciated the electric hookup waiting for us. Thank you. We enjoyed the stay!
This was a wonderful place to stay off a quiet backroad, fairly close to the highway. Perfect stopover for our family. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Very nice hosts who greeted us as we arrived (with their sweet dog , Daisy) and showed us where to park and offered electric hook up.
Picturesque location and easy to get to and park our 33’ RV.
Close to town for a necessary grocery run.
Quiet and off the beaten path but not hard to find. We were welcomed by Mae and had a quiet evening. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
Great views and we loved the deer. The host were GREAT, we felt like they were friends we hadn't seen in a long time. Look forward to meeting up with them again.
Very nice and very organized hosts! There was a boondockers sign where to set up and power cord already waiting for us. Had a nice chat with our host and then headed into town. Be sure to stop at CJ Maggie's for dinner or just a drink. Cool place. Thanks again for your hospitality!
We had a wonderful stay on their beautiful property. We enjoyed visiting with them and seeing their beautiful motorhome. They had some great suggestions of things to do in the area and state. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely return. Notes: there is no Verizon cell service, and when the sign says narrow road you are in the right road.
Todd & Mae were great hosts and fun to talk with. Their place is beautiful, nestled in the mountains. Deer are usually around. It is peaceful. Their directions are great and our GPS took us right to them despite their being two Saul's Run road entrances off 33/48. You will take the one that is 7 miles from I-79.
This was my first boondocking experience and I couldn't have found 2 nicer hosts than toddnmae. Their property is beautiful and so quiet. Todd was very helpful getting me set up and levelled. Provided electricity and water and I wish I could have stayed longer. Wonderful hosts - thank you so much!
Todd&Mae, were super friendly, very accommodating. Made us feel at home. Great folks.
What wonderful Hosts. We had a great night's stay. Nice quiet place nestled in the hills. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area looking for an overnight stay.
You'll not find a better experience period!
Great conversation and an overabundance of kindness. I hope we find a reason to be in the area again. Thank you both for a great time!
