Hi! We are Damon & Jen, and we've been full-timing since June 2011. We live in a 1994 36' Monaco Executive and tow our 2006 Subaru Baja. Damon works remotely as a Sr Network Engineer for an education company based in Austin, Tx, and Jen is the Ice Operations Manager for the Burning Man festival, based in San Francisco.

We left Texas in July of 2011, with our house on the market and all of our belongings sold, gifted or stored. We closed on the house on August 17th, 2011...a few hours before we arrived at Burning Man.

Since then we have traveled throughout the western and PacNW states, wintered in Texas and are back on the road headed north in the general direction of the Badlands, Yellowstone, Glacier and possibly Canada.

We are both pretty quiet people, love natural places and tasty noms. We have two large Maine Coon cats named Jasper and Sasha that travel with us.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Damon is a Network Engineer. He works on Unix systems and is pretty good at figuring out just about anything.

Jen has experience in many things: commercial and residential property management, land clearing (I love using skidsteers and other heavy equipment), crafty stuff, baking (specialty cupcakes and wedding cakes), event organizing, office management, get-it-done attitude.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

We love cooler temperatures, so higher elevations and northern states are where we tend to go in the summertime. We spend about 3 weeks at Burning Man each year, plus various regional events. So far, those are our only boondocking experiences other than Walmarts and truck stops.
