I am quiet but outgoing. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling to new places. I am in a new phase of my life after my marriage of 20+ years ended. I am currently living in New Hampshire but still looking for a place to call my permanent home in a warmer climate year round. I am told that I am a great hostess and enjoy having dinner parties with lots of friends. I am very respective of others and am not quick to judge another’s life style or choices without knowing that person’s back “story” as we all have one!
I am just learning about boondocking and rving ... so I don’t really have any expertise in this area.
I have had several wonderful pets over my lifetime. I currently have one little dog who was rescued as a puppy from a “designer puppy mill.” She was only 5 weeks old at the time and is now just over 3 years. Her name is Frankie Anne and she is part French Bull dog and part Boston Terrier... a “Frenchton”. She loves people and is not normally a barker unless to announce someone she doesn’t know has arrived. She is a great little travel companion and has been across the country with me in our Minnie Winnie, along with numerous other shorter trips.
Yet to be decided. I am going on a 3 month adventure and will know more soon!
Originally from South Bend, Indiana. However I lived in Rock Hill SC for 30+ years until my marriage ended in 2018. Currently live in Portsmouth, NH when I’m not traveling. Planning another cross country trip and may look for permanent residence in the southwest where I have several relatives.
I have a 24’ Minnie Winnebago.
We enjoyed hosting Mebill13. She was warm and friendly and settled into place easily. Thanks for the help with the dinner!
She is fun to be around and very friendly and conversational. Her rescue dog (Frankie) was well behaved and loves playing with other dogs.
It was a true pleasure and I hope she stops by again if she is in this area. Great guest and I hope she continues to enjoy her adventure and interaction with the Boondockers Welcome community.
They were great guests and boondockers. Left the place better or at least as good as she found it. For a Newbie, she has learned quick. Very friendly and Frankie is a good dog friendly also. She promised to stop back on her way home and we're looking forward to her next visit.
We'd planned only to be at our host location for May and June but then Covid intervened so we returned in Mar but didn't open up. By late May we figured we were "skilled" enough in practices that we could leave the calendar as is so we were delighted to get Mebill13's request. And what a treat it was to be her first hosts. Her story is so interesting and we were thrilled to be able to give her some tips and ideas. Frankie Anne is a delight and sat quietly at her feet as we sat around our porch last night talking. Never heard a peep from her even this morning when our neighbor put her dog outside.
We wish safe travels to them both and hope she'll get to partake of some more BDW hospitality on her journey.
