I teach college and my wife teaches middle school. We have always loved to go to new places and recently bought a trailer to make that easier. We really want to find new places off the beaten path to enjoy our time off.
I teach anatomy and physiology and my wife teaches science, so we have a pretty strong background in how nature works.
We have a rescue dog named Brodie who is as shy as any dog I have ever met. He doesn't leave our side. We also have two cats (Aspen and Snickerdoodle) that will be with us. They are harness-trained and get outside time on a leash, so they travel well.
We live in the deserts of West Texas but are transplants from the Northeast.
I have a 2019 Ford Ranger (17.5ft) attached to a 2019 Keystone Outback 210URS (23ft with a 5ft slide out the back). If there isn't room, we can keep the slide in to limit the total length.
We were happy to host this nice young couple at Candy Cane Corral. They were so respectful (and wore masks) when they arrived and we really appreciated it. Their dog and two cats were well behaved - in fact we hardly knew they were here. We look forward to return visits so we can really get acquainted with them. We wish them Godspeed and safe travels and above all - BE SAFE!!
