I'm 81 and my husband is 82 but we are still very active. One of Rhode Island's bike paths is right behind our property and we bike it regularly. Both of us are fully vaccinated and welcome any Boondockers who are fully vaccinated.
Our little dog Kat, a Japanese Chin, goes with us and loves the motorhome.

Our guests were very sweet, communicated well with arrival times and a joy! Welcome back any time!
Very nice and accommodating couple. They have a beautiful property and the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate.
Lorraine and Harry were wonderful hosts. The house and neighborhood were beautiful! Thank you both!
Lovely spot nestled in a more rural setting than suburban! But the couple offering hospitality was the best!! An inspiration to all of us adventurers!!
We got tucked away into a quiet, shady spot and appreciated having 20 amp service. It was about 1 hr to Newport which is why we came to rhode island. Host was kind enough to check on our pup while we were out.
This location was easy to find and very peaceful. And our hosts were so hospitable! We enjoyed getting the chance to sit and chat with them the evening before we left. Hope to visit again!
Nice quiet spot in a beautiful area. We loved the access to the bike path. Fantastic hosts. Thank you!
As our 2nd Boondockers Welcome stay, “Quiet spot in the burbs” was restful, as well as being a great homemade for day trip sightseeing in RI. The delight was in our charming, friendly hosts (I can’t begin to say enough nice things about them) and their beautiful property. Thank you again! Stay here; you won’t regret it!
I stayed at a "quiet spot in the burbs". The location was perfect for me. The hosts couldn't be nicer. The parking spot was perfectly flat, mostly shady, and they provided excellent Wi-Fi and AC power. Thank you so much
This is a great boondocking spot! The hosts were friendly and personable and the parking area was quiet and level. We enjoyed bike riding on the rail trail adjacent to the property. Highly recommended!
Our hosts were absolutely delightful!! We had such a great time visiting with them, and sharing our adventures. Their site was quiet, level, with easy hookup. Their yard was full of flowers and trees and birds that sang their hearts out. Their property made an easy access to a bike trail, and was great for walking or biking (next time we will bring our bikes!) We really appreciated their hospitality and welcome. Hope to be able to visit again when we are in that area.
We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our hosts! They were warm and friendly and we enjoyed getting to talk with them during our stay. It was a quiet and peaceful place with access right from the backyard to the Coventry Greenway bike path, which give you access to all kinds of neat places. We hope to come back again some time!!
Quiet spot in the burbs accepted us on short notice even while they were dealing with some family medical situations. They were perfect hosts, a real class act. They showed us great hospitality and made us feel not only wanted, but attended to. They went above and beyond, really helping us in the process. A beautiful place to stay. It is in town but the location has something of a country feel to it, with a large open area next to our trailer. Their property backs up to Washington Secondary Trail, Rhode Island’s longest bike path, which has been constructed on an abandoned railway corridor. We are so very grateful that they have cordially allowed us to impose.
We had a wonderful stay with Lorrainesterling. The hosts are absolutely lovely and hope to share time with them again!
For us, their place is a short drive from home base (the shortest boondocker we have stayed at) and the weather was perfect.
When plans changed for the holiday weekend (Easter) we looked for a nearby spot for our little family to have a maiden voyage of 2021. The bike path is a few hundred feet away from the gravel parking and hints of spring were abound in their yard.
We took a hike in the area (there are several within a few miles if you don't want to venture on the 19miles of bike trail!) and took our sons to see Nathaniel Greene Homestead (big history time for the 5th grader).
We truly hope to visit again soon!
"Lorrainesterling" were so welcoming -- we will definitely return to visit on our Rhode Island trips! We had a nice view across a field from our travel trailer camp site... and easy access to electric power. Ask them how to find their backyard path to directly access the bikeway.
Ended up staying two nights instead of one and hosts are very gracious.
Harry and Lorraine were fantastic hosts! They are kind-hearted and gave us everything that we needed!
Very pleasant quiet stay with the nicest hosts. Highly recommend.
