Former professor & campground host

Expired Guest

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Former UI professor, back in town for summer to collaborate w colleagues and to work on my aviation hobby at KPUW. Full time RV for 3.5 years. Have camp hosted for National Park Service for almost a year total. Quiet, low maintainance guest - will hardly know I am here.

Seeking short term spots while I find a spot for summer. Reservation spot I had in Moscow turned out to be untenable.

Skills & Expertise to Share

Not sure... former professor, handy enough to be full time RV'er... possible light handiwork exchange for extended summer stay in Moscow or Coeur d'Alene/Hayden area. Also, once flying again (likely sometime in June) happy to offer scenic flight to host in 1968 Cessna 150. (I have given many unofficial scenic flights around Palouse.

RidingRambling's Pets

My two lovable cats are 100% inside the RV all the time (the rig really belongs to them. They just let me drive it).

Favorite Boondocking Locations

have not boondocked a ton, mostly campground hosting... but working toward it (I have solar system to install, etc.)

RidingRambling's Hometown

Full time RV. Used to live here in Moscow when faculty at UI. Also have lived in CDA. Most recently hosted campgrounds in Death Valley National Park.

Easygoing, thoughtful guest

I enjoyed meeting RidingRambling and his cats. He was great about texting me to let me know what his plans were, and careful not to intrude. Welcome back anytime!
