I love camping and meeting people of all walks of life. I am a person of peace who lives under the gracious blessings of the almighty.
I am familiar with masonry, roofing, electrical, and plumbing. A master of none of them but familiar with all.

Even thought their stay was short, just two nights during a stormy time here in Virginia. We still got some time to chat with these wonderful folks. We are so glad our paths crossed, and that we could be a blessing to them. We are all on the same journey, and finding new friends along the way is exactly why we became hosts to start with. May the Lord bless and keep them, and continue shining his light upon them. This is a little family with a huge heart for all of us. We hope to cross paths again, and there is always a welcome here for them.
Very kind and immensely accommodating! Had a quiet spot to park even though a busy street borders lot. I felt very safe and various businesses nearby. Short walk to downtown and small creek borders property as well.
Great place to stay. Wonderful caring people very quiet. Space is level power is available. We would stay here again.
Easy access. Nice level gravel parking area. Very helpful friendly host. Quiet place to sleep for the night, then we had to head out early to our next destination.
A great place to stay for families. Host was friendly and hospitable. Surroundings were beautiful. Plenty of fun things to do at the camp for all ages. Enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back.
Great host!! Very gracious and friendly, enjoyed getting to know his story of how he arrive to where he is now.
We really love his cause with the youth center. We are in a 40ft class A with a tow, and still had plenty of room in a nice shady level spot. Definitely would love to come back in the future!
I had originally arranged to stay two nights, however was waylaid by rain and high winds, so I had to cancel the first night. My host was very understanding!
My friendly host came out to greet me and showed me where to park. Although the graveled spot was level, he had available wood two by fours fours for my use. There was a long hose for water hookup and even a water softener attached. It was nice to have the wifi, too! My courteous host made sure everything was satisfactory.
There are two spots and the other boondocker was quiet and kept to themselves.
TAC is off a main road and off a side road, and close to the highway, but pleasantly quiet. Plenty of nearby amenities for a small town. I enjoyed my stay and if ever I pass through town again, I would definitely stay here again!
Highly recommend this place. Was a real treat with power and water. Host was super friendly and helpful.
The host and everyone else at the camp were so welcoming and wonderful! Highly recommend.
We stopped at the TAC Center for one night on our way from Wisconsin to South Dakota. The host met us there upon our arrival and gave us instructions on how to get into the spot. There was easy access to power, water available, and a strong wifi connection. It's a great place for a stopover. Thank you very much for the hospitality!
Super convenient place to hang for a few days. The host provided the essential utilities, and the town of Kasson has everything else. Thanks very much Johannes!
What a wonderful host. Nice place to park. Easy to get backed in with a little skill and easy out as well.
We had to cancel at the last minute and Johannmon was extremely understanding and helpful. There should be more people in the world like this!
We stayed the night before and the night after an appointment at Mayo Clinic.
The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We stayed in mid October when nights are longer and a little colder. The 30 amp service was much appreciated. We did leave a donation.
Thank you so much for hosting.
We were welcomed to TAC Center Camp and helped to level our camper. Had an interesting visit with the host and appreciated access to the site.
Great conversation and an excellent stay. I expect to be back.
... that this gifted Teacher makes BDW, Kasson, Minnesota and the World a better place. He does not pretend to be perfect, but if ever he requests your Hospitality or Assistance during his Travels you should consider yourself truly Blessed:) Long Live The Spirit In Man on Earth!
This was a great place, electricity was available but we didn’t use it. Heard train once. Easy back in site, quite level. Would stay again.
We were passing through on a changing schedule. The host was very considerate of our needs. We only had a few minutes to visit but had an interesting talk about the TAC Center. Small town quiet at night. Would stay at the site again if in the area.
... on behalf of our Lord and those who venture forth - on legs, wings or wheels - in pursuit of knowledge, beauty and truth. Simply THE BEST of what BDW represents:)
At first glance this unassuming BDW Location - at the edge of a well-weathered and cozy small town - seems commonplace until you realize the myriad comforts and advantages it has to offer: a reasonably flat gravel pad with 30A service, running water & GOOD WiFi; SHADE on *both* sides, with leafy trees gracing a manicured lawn and handsome home; walking distance to a decent sized local Grocer, Pharmacy, Mayo Clinic, Laundromat, Post Office, Hardware store and LOTS more! All of which is ultimately secondary to a handy Host who knows Motor-homes, is intelligent and Helpful, and genuinely cares about people:) You are bound to receive more than you give, but rest assured that your generosity will be used to serve members of this humble Host's hard-working, family-friendly community:)))
Johann communicated with us about our eta, then greeted us and assisted in the parking process. He generously shared his garden produce (zucchini and cucumbers)! He is an attentive, generous host.
