My husband Darren and I are new RVers and can't wait to have more days out on the road. We will be fully retired from public education in about a year and look forward to seeing America. We love to travel and playing golf is always a focus on our trips. Family is very important to us and our elderly parents live with us along with two dogs, a husky and German Shepherd. We look forward to making new friends and sharing stories about places to go and things to see/do.
We are both educators and love to golf.
We currently have two dogs, Bella and Duke. Bella is a middle aged Husky and a bit of a diva. Duke is a black German Shepherd puppy who is easy active and is working on behavior. Neither travel with us now, but once we retire we expect to have Duke with us. He loves people, but doesn't always play well with other animals.
We haven't had a chance to stay anywhere yet.
Our hometown is Moberly, Missouri. It has a population of 13,000 and is located on Highway 63. We are 30 miles north of I-70 about halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis. We are 25 miles south of Highway 36. Our property is a couple of miles north of town and just off Highway 63. We have a Wal-Mart and Lowes along with a couple of other shopping options, but no real grocery store. There is a beautiful park in town, a movie theater with a drive-in, and a golf course. There are several eating options including fast food restaurants, 3 Mexican restaurants, Pizza, BBQ, and Family restaurants.

Second stay here and once again a great experience.
Thanks again for the hospitality.
Really nice folks with an awesome location. Helped me get situated and had a nice visit as well. Locally knowledgeable for food and best gas prices too!
I travel from Chicago to Oklahoma every year and will certainly be visiting again.
Host was a great communicator prior to the stay, and was very helpful in getting me parked and making sure I had every thiing I needed. What more could you ask for? A+
Great location, beautiful scenery, gracious host who was patient with me backing up my camper to hook up to electricity! I will be back. 😊
Our first Boondockers Welcome overnight stay! Our Hosts were very welcoming and provided for our overnite.
We enjoyed our conversations with both of them and got to meet their "puppies" as we are dog lovers also. Took a walk on their country road as the sun set on their country location.
I had a lovely drive through central Missouri to get to the location. It was a beautiful spot with a choice of places to park with electric. Friendly dogs to greet you. The host was very nice too.
I was grateful for a place to stay on the weekend of the 4th. Very restful and quiet.
I hope to pass this way again.
We only stayed one night but it was great. Our host and hostess were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend.
We stayed for night as we passing through a road trip t. Our stay was outstanding
We had a refresh day and was ready to be on the road.
We had an awesome time meeting the hosts and their 2 wonderful dogs. A safe place to stay and a restful nights sleep. Perfect!
Highly recommend these hosts.
We parked and we went to sleep early. The location is secure and flat.
Woke up refreshed and kept the adventure going.
Very nice property right off the hwy.
Thank you Bellas Backyard for your kindness
The host were very helpful and friendly. I had a very restful evening. There location is easily located. I highly recommend them as host's.
We enjoyed our short stay at Bella’s Backyard. The hosts were very prompt with communications about our stay, and met us when we drove down the driveway. We easily backed our 34’ fifth wheel in front of the garage on one of the most level spots we’ve had on this trip. We relaxed in the afternoon overlooking a huge, beautiful yard surrounded by trees with their friendly pup at our feet. When we left this morning, we had another chance to chat with the host. We would highly recommend this site if you are in the area.
Lesa warmly greeted me and we had a brief but nice chat. She provided me with water to refill my tank which was great!
Unfortunately it was a bit chilly and rainy so I never had a chance to talk with the hosts a second time which made me feel awkward. I would have liked to tell them in person how thankful I am for their wonderful hospitality. I would also have loved to meet the 94 year old youngster who keeps the eight acres of lawn looking so incredible!
Great spot and even better hosts, all thumbs up from me!
Easy access off the Highway, beautiful, peaceful place to overnight. Very nice, friendly Hosts. Good amenities close by. Thank you!!
We had a great visit with the host. Got to play with the dogs and stretch our legs. We had a wonderful time.
Weather was cold and snowy. Right of the main road ,easy in and out. Nice spot to park.
Snow started coming down just as we arrived at Bella's Backyard. The hosts helped us get parked for the night
It was still snowing in the morning so Darren and Lesa insisted that we stay to see what the weather was going to do .
Darren and Lesa were nice enough to let us stay an extra night.
The following morning the snow was over and we were back on the road .
Thanks Darren and Lesa for a great place to stay and helping us through the snow storm. If you are ever in Southeast Nebraska feel free to stay at "Living in the Country" with us.
Great people. Friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located off the freeway. Beautiful piece of property. Thank you for your hospitality.
Very friendly and helpful. Will stop again if in the area
