My husband Darren and I are new RVers and can't wait to have more days out on the road. We will be fully retired from public education in about two years and look forward to seeing America. We love to travel and playing golf is always a focus on our trips. Family is very important to us and our elderly parents live with us along with two dogs, a husky and black lab. We look forward to making new friends and sharing stories about places to go and things to see/do.
We currently have two dogs, Bella and Bogie. Bella is a middle aged Husky and a bit of a diva. Bogie is an elderly black lab who is easy going and loves attention. Neither travel with us now, but once we retire we expect to have Bella with us. She loves people, but doesn't always play well with other animals.
Our hometown is Moberly, Missouri. It has a population of 13,000 and is located on Highway 63. We are 30 miles north of I-70 about halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis. We are 25 miles south of Highway 36. Our property is a couple of miles north of town and just off Highway 63. We have a Wal-Mart and Lowes along with a couple of other shopping options, but no real grocery store. There is a beautiful park in town, a movie theater with a drive-in, and a golf course. There are several eating options including fast food restaurants, 3 Mexican restaurants, Pizza, BBQ, and Family restaurants.

We had a great visit with the host. Got to play with the dogs and stretch our legs. We had a wonderful time.
Weather was cold and snowy. Right of the main road ,easy in and out. Nice spot to park.
Snow started coming down just as we arrived at Bella's Backyard. The hosts helped us get parked for the night
It was still snowing in the morning so Darren and Lesa insisted that we stay to see what the weather was going to do .
Darren and Lesa were nice enough to let us stay an extra night.
The following morning the snow was over and we were back on the road .
Thanks Darren and Lesa for a great place to stay and helping us through the snow storm. If you are ever in Southeast Nebraska feel free to stay at "Living in the Country" with us.
Great people. Friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located off the freeway. Beautiful piece of property. Thank you for your hospitality.
