Hi, we are Eileen Brown and Bryan Turnbull (yes, we're married). We are both corporate America retirees, and now that our only son is off at college, we are seizing the chance to be on permanent vacation (or "holiday", as my British husband would call it). Our home in Northern New Hampshire was requiring too much upkeep (plowing, mowing, etc.) and keeping us too tied down - so in June of 2020 we sold up and hit the road. This would all have sounded much better a few short months ago, prior to the Covid. We can assure any potential hosts that we are extremely conscientious about wearing masks, sanitizing, and keeping our distance. Eileen is actually a licensed Advanced EMT who understands personal protective equipment.
Bryan has mad computer skills, and Eileen is an Advanced EMT. We actually travel with our own AED and Eileen’s “First-In” bag.
We have one cat, Jeremiah. Jeremiah is actually a girl, but she was named by our child when he was younger, so, why not? Jeremiah was used to going in and out at will when we lived in New Hampshire - so while she travels well, she loathes collars and leashes. We obviously respect our hosts wishes about keeping her on a collar and leash, but if any host was willing to allow her to be out and about, she would love that. She is actually a very timid cat, who tends to walk around under our RV or just sit on the steps, looking around. When she is allowed out, we are always right with her, "cat-herding."
We have enjoyed "The Wall" just outside Badlands National Park, and love to "dry camp" in National Parks.
We have most recently sold our home in the tiny town of Monroe, New Hampshire. Prior to that, we lived in northwestern New Jersey, near the Delaware Water Gap. Eileen is originally from upstate New York, and Bryan was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and then grew up in the Midlands of England. We met and were married in Russia, where we were both working for Mars, Inc. (think chocolate!).
2020 Winnebago Adventurer 30T (gas), towing a 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid sedan. Combined length is approximately 52' when the car is hooked up behind the RV. We are always happy to unhook the car. The car alone is 16' long. Thank you in advance for considering us! Bryan, Eileen & Jeremiah the Cat
We thoroughly enjoyed hosting this couple. We had a great visit with them. We hope our paths cross again soon.
Sorry I missed you. Hopefully you will come back again and we will meet?
Glad you enjoyed coco's!
