. We were pleased to visit with this couple. They are also bicycles, nice visit around the campfire.
They are so nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking with them about their adventures. Cannot wait to see them again next year 🙂 lovely couple...very fun respectful and courteous....joy to have them!
We love these BW, wish they could have stayed longer. Great communication before arriving and were quick to hookup and relax. They came tandem with 45sunset. From that moment on our conversations were lively and felt like we knew them from another time! We truly hope to see them again! They are great people and if you get a request to stay from them, don’t hesitate, just agree, you'll be glad you did! They came as strangers and left as friends.
We had a very nice overnight with 2dogs. Spent a bit of time talking of our travels and skiing. Going to have to make a visit to their home near Lake George. Arrived when they said they would and departed in the morning. Although short it was a fun visit.
This is in a really peaceful near beautiful Lake George. We shared experiences on our motor homes (same size, different makes) as we are both relatively new to the RV'ing. There are great trails through the woods starting at the house which provide more solitude, and some darn good exercise -- depending on far you want to go. This was a great stay with great folks (hosts) and we would welcome to our place at any time.
We arrived before the hosts were home but the directions as to where to park and hook up to electricity were extremely clear. The first evening included a very warm welcome to their home with a bonfire! Later we were treated to a ride in the UTV to view the beaver pond. These folks truly enjoy meeting people and it shows in the sincerity of their welcome. This is also an easy couple of miles to Lake George. We would be pleased to return.
This was our first Boondockers experience and my biggest worry is that nothing will ever compare to what we just experienced. We were met with a genuine hug, set up with water, electricity if we’d wanted it, they loved up our dog, and then, on hearing about an accident with our bike rack that resulted in my losing my bike, GAVE us one that they had and refused to accept any money for it. I think if we’d asked they’d have let us just move right in. Kindness and outsized generosity like theirs gives me faith in the world. I think we may have friends for life!
H&B are wonderful people. I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s very quiet and the parking is level.
A wonderful and quiet spot up in the hills above Lake George. We were greeted warmly and welcomed for a quick walk through the well maintained trails on the property to a gorgeous beaver pond with our host.
Very friendly hosts. They made us and our pup feel so welcomed. We slept great after a long day of hiking, in our rig on a very even, flat packed area designated for Boondockers.
A wonderful stopover for a quick weekend getaway.
What can I say Brian and Holly are the best. They were kind, friendly, caring, considerate, helpful and I can go on and on….what a wonderful couple. This was an awesome stay and I so enjoyed spending time with the hosts. I feel like I have made two really good new friends. And my doggie Chloe just loves them… I would highly recommend staying at their property. Nice private spot and the views are incredible around the property. You definitely don’t want to miss this one..
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, meet these hosts - they're the most! Not only does BD provide places to drive where you'd not otherwise, this beautiful remote location exemplified the reason to visit New England. The 4-wheeler ride to their lake was thrilling and an unexpected treat. The location was great, but the hosts were even greater. It is absolutely wonderful to meet fellow kindred spirits along the path, and especially while traveling solo.
We can’t say enough nice things about these hosts. They were so welcoming, generous, and fun! We loved spending time with them, exploring their gorgeous property, and trading rig tours. We’ll definitely visit again if we pass through the area :)
Holly and Brian are amazing hosts and we had an incredible stay with them. This is a beautiful property with all kinds of cool surprises! We hope our new friends will come see us in Florida SOON!!!
We wish we could have enjoyed more time there! Holly and Brian are some of the nicest people and their spot was perfect for our trailer! Our daughter loved seeing the beaver dam and the tour of the property.
Highly recommend staying here.
Such a beautiful location and the Host was very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.
We had a lovely stay at Loveland Acres. Super nice and welcoming hosts and a beautiful property with a nice and easy level spot. Thanks again!!
We had a few mosquitoes! Nothing that would send you to the hospital. :-). Quiet location in the shade. It was a hot day. Hosts were wonderful.. Please visit!
Another beautiful place! Really enjoyed meeting these hosts, spending time with them. Thank you so much!
Great Host, location and site. So totally accommodating in a really great area to visit. During our short visit we didn't get to spend much time with our hosts but hope to visit again in the near future and share some Oscar's with them. Thanks so very much.
We had a wonderful time staying with 2Dogs. They were so welcoming that we felt right at home. B & H went above and beyond our expectations for our second BW experience. Flat, shaded spot with electricity and friendly people...what more could you want? If we are in the area again we won't hesitate to stop in. Thanks for your hospitality.
Holly and Brian couldn’t be more wonderful hosts. Our parking space was tucked in the woods and we had access to the two-tracks on the property to exercise the dogs and see their abundance of nature. Deer, beaver dams, newts, and many birds. The mosses and mushrooms were just a gateway to breath-taking vistas. Pleasant conversation with warm and generous people. Thank you for our relaxing overnight.
We concur with all the nice things our predecessors said about 2Dogs. Walking down to the Beaverdam and getting up to the overlook with B was a treat, and it was great chatting with them both over some great food.
H&B are a warm, down to earth, hospitable and most accommodating couple. It all made for a most memorable stay.
Our 2 labs were met by the hosts with so much positivity and love that we almost couldn't get our pups to continue our travels!!! The hosts are super pet friendly and human friendly as well. What a joy to have met them and share some beers outside by the fire. I can not imagine anyone topping their hospitality.
We immediately felt at home with 2Dogs. Their warmth and hospitality made it feel like visiting family (the kind you really want to spend time with!). We had so much in common, even down to having lived in the same town as kids. We enjoyed the tour of the property by 4 wheeler, many hours of just chatting like old friends, and the wonderful location to tour Lake George. If I could fantasize the absolutely perfect Boondockers Welcome spot, this would be it. They also had a large container of brochures and local information to help you enjoy the area, and gave us tips that we followed and had a great day exploring. I just wish we had been back in time to go to the softball game with them! Genuinely nice people that we will never forget.
First time meeting “2Dogs” and it was like meeting old friends. Our stay with them could not have been any better. They were the most welcoming and down to earth people we have ever met. We truly believe we have met friends for life!
Had such an awesome stay! The hosts took us around their property on a 4x4 and showed us around then later invited us in for a beer. Made some good friends and had the best night sleep. Highly recommend!
2Dogs was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and it was awesome! They are wonderful hosts who spent time with us and showed us their beautiful property. Our parking spot was very cozy and level in the trees. Thank you 2Dogs for your generosity and for making our first stay with Boondockers so much fun!
loveland Acres Host greeted us with a warm welcome, they were as excited as we were. After Chatting for a bit, we received a tour of their property through the woods. When we got to the top of their property the open view of Lake George was amazing. On your travels if in the area this is a must stop.
Loveland Acres was a wonderful stay. The hosts have set a very high bar for us as hosts and we will try to live up to what they did for us. Can not say enough good things but know that you will not be disappointed with your choice to stay with them!
Ditto to what I said earlier. We decided to stay 2 more days because of their caring and kindness. Can’t thank you enough for all the touring we did. Looking forward to returning next year.
So beautiful. As soon as we drove up we felt at home with the welcome we received. So much beauty around us. We found out Holly & I lived down the street from each other in MD. As we talked we have so much in common we became friends immediately. Brain also made us feel so welcomed. Good conversation, a wonderful ride in the Mule to see Lake George. We had electric & water if needed. Will be coming back to visit our friends in the future. Thank you so much.
