Hi! We welcome you to stay in the sticks! We have 2 children at home. They’re 11 and 13. We are so excited to get on the road, although not ready quite yet, so when I found Boondockers Welcome I thought to myself, WE DEFINITELY HAVE room. We love meeting new people but understand if you need your space.
My husband Jason was a generator repair person in the US Army. Aside from that he’s pretty much a jack of all trades . I am a retired LPN, and an aspiring Jane of all trades lol.
We have 3 cats that do free roam the property. While traveling our cats will be indoor only. We have 2 smaller dogs ( beagle and a spaniel) that are either in the kennel, on a leash or inside.
We have only technically boondocked once, years ago. We just bought a used RV that we are currently renovating. So I don’t have any locations to share at the moment :(
25 minutes South Of Canton OH. We live in the sticks between New Philadelphia Ohio & Dennison Ohio. There’s lots to do in and around the area. Tuscora Park, Woods Tall Timber Resort, Dennison Railroad Depot and more.
Coachmen Catalina 1999 Class A 32QB -Good-great shape
We did not get a chance to visit much, but would welcome these folks back anytime.
Glad to have been their first host location for fellow BW host. Although we only got to chat for a few moments, you immediately knew they were wonderful folks. Thanks JulieJason for the opportunity to share with you the other side of the BW experience.
Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful spot in the country. Recommend the Boonedocker site to anyone.
Nice secluded location had everything we needed for a nice 4th of July. Especially loved the little black and white kitty. Excellent communication with the hosts, sorry we missed you all.
These folks were awesome hosts. They went way above and beyond to make use fell welcome and make our stay a great time. Kids had a blast playing outside and we had a great time just hanging out and chatting. Great places to visit in the area as well. If you like fresh cheese, the multiple cheese factories over in the Millersburg area (about 45 minutes) are a must. Don’t forget to pick up the regional favorite, Trail Bologna!
JulieJason were great. They responded to our request to stay very quickly. Our request was for that same day and they graciously offered to host us. We arrived late evening. They were sitting on their porch watching the rain when we arrived. They greeted us with a welcoming wave as soon as they saw us coming around the bend and came out to help us settle in even though it was pouring the rain.
Jason and Julia welcomed us to there home for our first Boondockers Welcome stay. We enjoyed a nice, peaceful evening. Unfortunately we had to leave during a heavy rain and weren’t able to say “goodbye “.
We spent 3 nights at "stay in the sticks". Our time with this amazing couple will. long be remembered. We talked for hours and came away feeling we've made some great friends. Look forward to spending more time there in the future. Hope all our Boondockers Welcome stays are as enjoyable.
Stayed while taking in my [email protected] for service in Sugar Creek-easy access! Lovely family. I wish them all the best with their road trip dreams.
We stayed at Stay In The Sticks for two nights and it was wonderful. They are the sweetest family and we loved them. Spent an evening around the firepit with them and we really enjoyed it. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
