My love for the outdoors started when I was young with camping and spending most of my childhood outside swimming in the pond, making forts, and playing in the dirt. Since then I have only grown to appreciate the outdoors more and more and we are currently working on becoming full timers in our renovated fifth wheel! Our goal is to do as much traveling as possible during the colder months and spend the warmer months enjoying the beautiful Michigan summers. We have a toddler and a golden doodle which keep us very active. We love hiking, biking, swimming, and basically any other outdoor activities. We also love to meet new people and listen to stories around a campfire.
I am an avid photographer and would love to talk camera and equipment as well as help you get to know your camera / capture some shots of your campsite if we visit!
Yes, we have 1 pet-- a friendly golden doodle named Renley who will be traveling with us.
We have yet to have our first boondocking experience
West Michigan is home
We have a white prowler fifth wheel and we tow it with a black dodge ram pick up truck. We will also have some bikes on the back of the fifth wheel that could add an additional foot or so.
Big time hikers, even backpacking their 38 pound, 2 year old son with them. Enjoyed talking about different types of aircraft and ways of learning to fly with them. Good guests and welcome again.
Good communication. Nice family. We had snow the day they arrived and my wife and I were out of town for the day so we spoke on the phone and gave them directions to the property. All went well. Good luck and safe travels guys!
We enjoyed having this young family at our place. Very friendly and interesting to visit with. They fit in with our family very well. Hope to see them again sometime.
I was working so I didn't get to meet our guest. Their Little Boy loved the Chickend and Ducks. Come back anytime
Hardly knew they were here. Welcome back anytime
GingerBrit arrived early one morning after traveling all night, exhausted they rested then began exploring this area. They discovered many of the natural beauties of our state. During their stay we developed a great rapport, and I enjoyed their young son "walking" their pup, or vice versa. Overall it was a great experience, as a host, I always feel I get the best of the deal. GingerBrit is welcome anytime.
Always welcome to my little corner of the world.
Sorry for the confusion with my tie to the systeI denied many because I didn’t want to. overbook.
Shut off all of February with hopes of getting things as smooth as last year.
You’all come back again.
Fine family-didn’t know they came and went.
I do think the little person enjoyed himself.
Note to tall person driving USE THOSE MIRROS - NO LEANING OUT THAT DOOR “EVER” jk
Gingerbrit, hubby, 2 1/2 yr old son, & well behaved, friendly dog were a pleasure to host, even amid the escalating pandemic & us being at high risk, which prevented us socializing as we would have liked. We were able to communicate well at a safe distance & via texts.
They are quite new to fulltime RVing, but young & intelligent, they are learning well. When severe weather threatened their ability to visit the springs & manatees in the area, we invited them to stay a couple extra days. They were very appreciative and got some fun adventures in.
Gingerbread & family welcome back anytime!
Super nice family you will be blessed to host. GingerBrit put up with my pups hi-jinks and were excellent guests. Renley was a great playmate for them. I did experience some electrical issues while they were here and they were so patient and accommodating while we worked out those issues. Welcome back anytime!
P.S. The little guy is just too cute!
Very nice family.
Glad they had a good stay here.
Really good people. Glad to have them. They really appreciate our host site and are taking full advantage of their stay here to get out an explore. They are welcome back any time.
Had a great time getting to know these folks. We ended up firing up the grill and had some cool little memories made. See ya up north sometime yall.
