We are a couple who have traveled the country a lot. We enjoy being outside, a slow pace, and whatever this beautiful country we live in offers. We have two mini Goldendoodle’s that travel with us. They are therapy dogs that fit in most any situation as they’ve been exposed to a lot. We’re excited about this new opportunity to travel without always staying in a campground and getting to meet local folks that know their area and are open to sharing their home space.
We grew up and raised families on farms, raised livestock, rode horses, fixed what was broken, drove all types of trucks and farm equipment, shared what we had, helped when we could, and graciously accepted help when we needed it. I’m a retired nurse, horse trainer and competitor, and mom. Walt drove over the road trucks, owned and ran a restaurant, and has run a wholesale rock/landscaping business for years.
I’m sure there are some shareable skills in there somewhere and we’re happy to that when it works and is fitting.
We have two mini goldendoodles, Buzz and Phineas. They have been Therapy dogs that provide special love to anyone who needs it. They are kind and loving and have also traveled extensively and are comfortable in most any situation . That said, we understood that not everyone is in love with our dogs and respect everyone’s right to not interact with them.
Haven’t done much as yet.
We are from a small town in north central Ohio, Loudonville. It is primarily a farming community in the middle of Amish country. Because it is an a beautiful part of Ohio with rolling, wooded hills and many lakes and rivers, it has also become a center for all types of outdoor recreation.

Hopefully i will be hosting this couple again in their travels it was a pleasure to have them stay
We had a fun and enjoyable time during their visit! We're so glad they decided to stay at our place! Our dogs and their dogs got along famously, so it was even a great time for them. I know we will absolutely see them again one day!
