Sterling and I are driving a class C motorhome. We have upgraded twice from travel trailers and really enjoy the one vehicle as contained. Our black lab, Ginger, enjoys our travels, too. In 2013 we crossed the US from CT to Idaho and returned from New Mexico. 10,000 miles/10 weeks. This year 2014 we traveled to 1000 Islands, NY and Ontario. We love to discover new places and learn about history, customs, and new food. We are planning to attend the 2014 RV-Dreams fall rally in Elkhart, IN. Now maybe I will learn to be a driver too. We tow a 2014 CMax Energi - great hybrid car. We occasionally stay at a harvest Hosts venues. Good wine, good fruits, and new friends.
Ann enjoys classical guitar and travels with a guitar, hopefully to jam. Ann is starting to learn the Irish tin whistles. Sterling enjoys hiking and hikes frequently. Sterling is a very handy guy. He really has a green thumb. We enjoy gardening and have a fairly large flower and vege garden in our front lawn. We cook all our own food while traveling; recently started making a few meals ahead; portioning and freezing. I use the vacuum sealer to contain foods and minimize packaging.
None yet. We did Walmart, once in NY, and don't want to do that again. We were fine BUT when we returned home, friends told us that was not a safe location.
2015 Forest River Sunseeker 3050s. The manufacturer eliminated a few options (our preference). No entertainment center over cab, smaller refrig to gain large pantry. There is one slide out (almost whole driver's side.) It includes dinette, kitchen, vanity, and queen bed. We reversed the dinette and couch so the dinette is on the kitchen side. Love the layout.
