It was a pleasure to host Karl and Brenda we had a nice visit with them, they are welcome back anytime!
Just overnight stay. Seasoned RV traveler couple friendly and respectable. Welcome back anytime.
Wonderful guests to stay here at our farm. Beautiful RV and such a friendly couple. Hope to see you again on your travel home.
We enjoyed having sherpacoaching stay with us for a couple of days. They were fun to visit with. We had so much going on those few days that we didn't get to visit as much as we'd like. We wish them safe travels and fun adventures.
What can we say...we all had such a good time visiting! I hope you have a different view of what farming was like in the past....Also other friends from Wisconsin chimed in on the conversation while we all enjoyed home-grown fresh picked strawberries. We all had a blast from the past... Enjoyed hosting these two and would love to see them again...which may happen beings we have relatives in their home-town area!!! Happy traveling!
We didn’t get to visit much, but was glad to host them after a long travel day. They’re welcome back anytime!
We were happy we could offer Karl and Brenda the quiet remote spot they were looking for. Great guests. Welcome back any time.
Wow!!! This spot is absolutely beautiful and The hosts were fantastic! We enjoyed two nights on the Ohio River and enjoyed watching the barges go by. Our two girls loved the treehouse and it was walking distance to a nice playground. It rained a bit on Saturday so we drove to Cincinnatti and went to the Underground Railroad Freedom Center and the Taste of Belgium restaurant. We are headed out today and are driving to the Augusta Ferry to go across to Kentucky! Thank you, for helping us make some beautiful memories with our family! Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wonderful host with an amazing view. The host was very welcoming! We loved seeing the barges going up and down the river. Would love to stay again when we’re in the area.
Wonderful stay at Sherpacoaching! We had a level spot overlooking the River. When I took the dogs out late at night I heard a Loon calling from the river, beautiful! Very nice welcoming hosts, too bad we didn’t have a chance to chat on the morning we left.
These were lovely hosts and a beautiful stay. The serenity of the Ohio river bank with quietly passing tugboats and barges, and the quiet lawn and trees are hard to beat. Brenda and Karl recommended a nice nature preserve down the street for an enjoyable hike. Local history museums at the preserve were closed, but inspired some thought provoking internet searches telling a history I had not known.
Setting is incredible
Wuiet snd tight on ohio tibet
Very nice would have stayed longet but dnd of trip
Stayed 2 nights on this beautiful property. Hosts could were very gracious
This was our very first boondockerswelcome experience and it will be a hard one to improve on. The hosts were excellent. They greeted us when we arrived, showed us where to set up and where the hookups were, and told us about some activities in the area.
The view of the river and the rest of the landscape is amazing. We would definitely return to this place if we are in the area again. The entire experience was wonderful.
This was a great overnight parking place! The host helped us get set up in his driveway, level and complete with electricity. They invited us to enjoy the view from their porch, which overlooks the Ohio River. It was fun to watch the barges go by, and to see the train across the River in the distance. We walked on the trails at the nearby park, which was really nice after a long day’s drive. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spot with us!
We just stayed overnite and left early but were made to feel welcome and given a nice place to park with a view of the river.
Very quiet and peaceful home on the Ohio River. The owner insisted we back our van onto his lawn so we could have a view of the river while we spent the night. Very pleasant stay.
The location is beautiful and unique. Parked right on the bank of the Ohio River. The freighters are close! Would love to stay again!
Beautiful place to stay overlooking the Ohio river. Hosts were very gracious and allowed us to use their deck overlooking the river. Very peaceful. Nice trails to walk nearby. Thank ypu so much for your hospitality!
This was a lovely location, right on the river, very safe and quiet. There's a nice walk in a nature preserve just down the road if you need a bit of a stretch and a little time in the forest after driving all day! My cell phone died completely (yes, Google maps!) and hosts were exceptionally helpful in getting me on my way to the nearest Verizon store. Would definitely stay here again. Much appreciated stopover!
We had a wonderful stay. The hosts weren’t home, but they had a friend check in on us. We appreciated the use of their patio and deck to enjoy the amazing sunset over the Ohio River while watching boaters and barges pass by. That you for sharing your driveway with us!
There’s not many places you can Boondock on the banks of the Ohio watching the barges go by. A Peaceful, friendly, quiet place to spend a few days.
The hosts are wonderful and have opened their yard and deck for your use.
Karl met us as we pulled up and showed us where to set up. Then provided a power hook up for us. We were able to look across the river into Kentucky from our window. Our spot was perfectly level. Karl offered us help if we needed it but otherwise let us just enjoy their beautiful location. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. W and B Oasis
I thoroughly enjoyed a restful stay in this beautiful spot. There was a lovely park just down the road with a nice little nature trail
Arrived just before dark and left early but all was well and quiet and restful
This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet! We loved it!
Need a place to contemplate life while watching the river flow by? this is the place!
Park near the river and enjoy, or enjoy from one of their decks. Barges passing are an added benefit.
Just as wonderful as our last visit. We also caught a bunch of fish out of the river this time. Great place to stop with a beautiful view.
Was invited to stay even though the hosts were not home. An amazing view and so.e much needed relaxation, watching the barges, the ducks and the sunset. Thanks so much
This stay has an amazing view of the Ohio River. The hosts were Boondocking themselves but had a friend watching their place and let us stay. We enjoyed watching the boats and even caught a few fish. It’s definitely a little piece of heaven and we are thankful they shared it with us.
Wonderful experience. We are 1st time RVers and staying at the Ohio River Paradise was just that, paradise. :). Sherpacoaching were great and welcoming hosts. They created a comfortable environment for us newbies.
Very picturesque location, but the weather was not conducive to sitting outside.
Very nice helpful hosts. We hope to return sometime and enjoy the scenery.
My hosts were very welcoming and kind. This was my first Boondockers Welcome stay. They have a lovely area and view right on the Ohio River.
These hosts are really incredible. It was such a privilege to be there once more in their beautiful paradise on the river! Thanks again for everything!
Welcoming hosts! Great level site. It was cold and rainy but we did get to see a few barges float by. Would definitely stay here again Thank you Karl and Brenda🤗
Thanks for the use of your driveway. We felt very safe and secure. Lovely location. Flat, easy to access spot. Highly recommended.
Gorgeous sunsets! Was able to get some awesome pictures of sunsets and barges along the river. We stayed 3 days and ended up going for a day to the Ark Encounter. It was fascinating and very educational, but it did take all day. Was very quiet and peaceful at sherpacoaching. Our last day we decided to take a motorcycle ride to Charleston WV and had a great time and some beautiful scenery. Ended the day with a little ferry ride on the way home. Thanks again for hosting us and letting us enjoy your little peace of heaven on the river.
We enjoyed our two nights watching barges go up and down the river, beautiful sunset, good local winery. We met some local folks we stumbled upon playing live music. Our host was very gracious we look forward to coming back again.
After a long drive this host was the greatest rest one could ever ask for. Butted up against the mighty Ohio barges included! The host was super easy to work with and even though we’re self contained we did have an electric if needed.
Again, wonderful stay and would love to go back and explore the local community sites. Oh yeah don’t forget the ice cream shop down the road.
Excellent hosts and location. Was able to watch barges go up and down the river on the deck. Hosts were tremendous people! Was very happy I got to meet them and enjoy some good conversation. Close to Cincinnati where I had a blast at the Reds games! Couldn’t of gone any better. Thanks and I hope to see ya down the road.
Wonderful place to stay. Level drive way. And what a view. The Wonderful host were very thoughtful. Great conversation with a view. Good park close by to walk my dog. I really enjoyed my time there and hope to visit again.
Worked out well for us. Parked on the level and tiled driveway. Beautiful view of the Ohio River. Lots of birds at the bird feeder. Did not get to meet the hosts, but felt nicely welcomed. Quiet residential neighborhood, some houses appeared to be in only in summer use.
What a great, short stay we had with Karl and Brenda! They were arriving home after being gone for a month but that did not deter them from thoroughly welcoming us. It was fun getting to know them.....and, believe it or not, we discovered a hometown connection! Their location is amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer to see more barges going down the river. Cool! That being said, we will be back!
This place is heaven on earth! Hosts are so dedicated and helpful, I would have stayed for a couple weeks!
An overwhelmingly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place! Thank you so much!!
Just an awesome place with great people. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven with me for an evening. It was greatly appreciated
