I am enjoying an active retirement: making pottery, volunteering in schools and in the neighborhood, reading, kayaking/canoeing, long daily walks, seeing our wonderful world.
I am familiar with some camping and hiking areas through Michigan.
I love folk music and am learning some fiddling and jazz, plus Scandinavian folk dance music, after growing up with classical.
I do some gardening and pruning.
I have an older chocolate lab who is a therapy dog in schools and medical settings. He gets along well with other dogs. He is not so active these days. He barks very little and is always on leash. We carefully avoid farm animals and soiling grape vines and fruit trees, etc. I always pick up poop.
Michigan, Kentucky, and the Shenandoah Valley have been recent destinations. But I am new to boondocking!

It was so good to see this guest again after this pandemic year with her smiling face ,her interesting conversations and her wonderful dog.
Ingrid arrived after a road weary trip from the state of Ky through the “land of orange barrels” known as Cincinnati! She maneuvered her tear drop RV unit like a true pro, set up in a perfect spot and then joined an impromptu gathering of several of our neighbors for appetizers and adult beverages. She being a fan of that football team calling Ann Arbor home and the rest of the guests either strong supporters of the teams calling Columbus Oh and Lafayette Ind. their homes, the discussions were lively and great fun. We enjoyed and shared Boondocking experiences. This lady was a joy to spend an evening with; it was like she was a neighbor. We hope she’ll stop and see us again on her future travels.
She was so nice to meet, arrived with delicious Lemon Curd for me!
Wish I could have spent more time chatting that’s why we do boondockers, just super busy trying to complete projects during her stay.
As a visitor you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant person,
She and her pup are welcome back anytime!
We really enjoyed talking to Igunder in short driveway conversations during her two-night stay here. She’s so personable and self-sufficient in every way. We appreciated her natural curiosity about her surroundings and her optimistic outlook when things sometimes don’t go as planned. We hope her Kentucky exploration continues to be an enjoyable experience for her and her distinguished senior dog. We’d welcome her back anytime!
A pleasant and appreciative guest. Nothing but positive things to say about Igunder....
We were out of town when Igunder stayed at our home. We had no evident issues when we returned. We would welcome Igunder to stay here again.
Igunder and her wonderful companion Bjoern were fantastic guests and are welcome to come back to us at anytime.
Igunder and her elderly pup were fun to have as guests. She entertained us by playing a lovely waltz on her fiddle. We were fascinated by the unique features of her trailer, a sort of hard sided pop up. It also had a front hitch wheel and remote control motor to assist in hitching up, perfect for a single person, no spotter needed to assist. Very unique for a trailer of that size. Welcome to return anytime.
This lady is just beyond wonderful. She entertained the children with her violin, dance and stories. Her dog is very friendly and great with children. Please come back and stay longer....
This lady and her dog were the best of the best. She is very friendly and is very informative on many subjects. Our family was also very impressed by her fiddle playing and dancing. This is the kind of guest you would like to come back and stay much longer. Happy trails ..
We had a great visit with Igunder and her mellow old pup. Quiet, respectful, and would love to have them again. Enjoyed good conversation, and like with all guests, it’s never long enough!
Very polite and cheerful guest, and a happy ole dog! Please feel free to come play with Blue again.
Igunder kept me up to date on her arrival time, set up quietly on her own where requested in advance, and was a gracious guest. Her dog was happy and quiet at her side. No hesitation in recommending her.
