We enjoy traveling in our RV and enjoy hosting visitors. I am a retired CPA and Geri is retired from our IT department. Lived in Phoenix together for 25+ years developing our accounting business and rental property. Sold everything at retirement and moved to Quartzsite AZ. This is a gathering place for RVers during winter. So much to do and see if you like the out-of-doors. abandoned mines. Thousands of miles of off-road trails to explore. Join the gold club and use their claims to "Strike it rich". Gem and mineral club can teach you lapidary, silversmithing, or any number of other crafts. 80 acre city park has a remote control airplane field with 650' of paved runway good for both gas and electric.
We love hosting and talking about this great little city of 3,500 people who support over a million winter visitors during the winter. Come see why Quartzsite is so popular.
Geri is into developing her crafting skills. She has her "she shed" where she turns out her magic. Also, her she-shed is an afternoon hangout for women's social hour drinking wine (usually exceeding the hour).
Ed hacks away at his Yamaha keyboard arranger or breaks out his bagpipes for a bellow into the night air. He flys his rc airplane. He is into the lapidary arts. Also playing at building RV pads on the property with his new John Deere Tractor. Most recently, Ed has started making coin jewelry (Rings from Quarters, Half-dollars etc.).
We have 2 Zuchons. They are our fur babies and treated as family. Their favorite activity is going to the dog park and socializing with other pets. Dog park has separate areas for Large...Medium...and small dogs. Dog park is only a couple of miles from the property
Ed has been in Phoenix AZ since 1968 (home town being southern California). Geri is from Fort Frances, Ont CA. We met on the internet over 25 year ago (dial-up and DOS). This per-chance meeting was the biggest blessing we could have ever imagined. When we are not traveling, we hang our hat here in Quartzsite. When the temperatures get too extreme, we migrate to our cabin in the mountains near Flagstaff.
Winnebago Ekko 22A. We may tow a jeep, or a side-by-side, or maybe tow nothing.
Thank you for a great place to hang out. The sunset was awesome. Hope to see you guys again in the future while traveling.
Easy communication, easy to find. Nice quiet, level parking spot right next to hookups. Friendly hosts!
I stayed for one night under the moon and stars. Host was great and gave me a tour of his place. Very welcoming.
Great place to stop and stay. Explore Quartzsite, everything is an easy bike ride or just drive around.
This is a really nice quiet town.
Hosts are amazing and the fur babies are so sweet.
Make sure you follow the directions in, not your gps.
Will stay again for sure.
Hosts we’re very nice and showed me their lovely property and fabulous garden. It was very easy to pull in and turn around. I did not need to use hook ups. Very much appreciated the expansive views with lovely sunsets and sunrises.
Great place to stop over. Located next to BLM land which was nice for taking the dog for a walk. Do watch for the ATVs zipping about there.
Strong Verizon cell Signal. Did not even need to use a booster.
Easy to maneuver our motorhome on their provided site, wonderful Hosts. Near to shopping and 1 stop RV needs.
We have a long set up (56 feet) and there was enough room to get in and out. Spot was level. The water and electricity (50/30 amp) was much appreciated. We gave them a heads up and he met us when we arrived. Nice clean property. Would love to stay again.
Doc and I had a wonderful time on the host property. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We appreciated them having us stay on their property.
We stayed for 2 nights (originally asking for one, but asked the next day to extend). 30 and 50 amp hook ups and water. We enjoyed observing the quail, bunnies and other wildlife around the property. We took our bikes out to some trails that are right down the road from the house.
This place is really nice and quiet! We looked forward to seeing the stars but the moon was just too bright. Maybe next time! The host was very welcoming and provided us plenty of information about their place and the town. The town of Quartzsite is a very interesting one. Worth the stay if you are traveling on your way along I-10. Had good cell signal with T-Mobile here.
Wow, awesome hosts and wonderful place to stay! So many neat things to do. We definitely will stop again next time we are here.
This was a great stop over on our trek out west. Lots of activities around this area. Good enough cell service to support zoom meetings (Verizon and Sprint). Easy in and out location. Would definitely go back!
I hate to leave! It's been so cozy here. The hosts welcomed me with brochures on things to do in the area. They told me about a great dog park that my pups loved. It's so quiet and peaceful. I feel revived after my stay at Triple Palms Oasis.
Triple Palms continues to be a unique experience. Great area, great hosts. Very peaceful.
Great communication. Very nice location to stay at with electric/water. Easy to get to with trailer.
This was the perfect stop for us right off highway 10 as we traveled from Southern California to Phoenix. The host has a beautiful property with plenty of space and an amazing garden. We took our camping chairs out to eat dinner outside. :) The host was also very accommodating and friendly. 110% recommend and would stay again!
We really enjoyed our visit. The site is very quite and easy to get to. Host was welcoming and gave us info of area. Our son got to see bunnies and roadrunners running around.
The hosts were great with communication and we really enjoyed our time parked at their home. We were just minutes away from the Gem and Mineral Show that we were visiting, but at night it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere (the stars were beautiful). We had water, 50 amp electric, and at the end of our four day stay, we drove just a few minutes down the road to RV Pitstop and dumped our tanks for less than $20! As a family with special dietary needs, I'm glad we stocked up on food before we came because the actual town of Quartzsite didn't have a lot of options for us. Overall, we would definitely come back again next year! Thank you Ed and Geri!
Nice folks, nice pad with power. Didn’t interact because of COVID-19.
Qe had a very enjoyable. quiet evening after the hustle of Quartzsite. Level, ready hookup and quiet neighborhood for a a stroll
Ed & Geri are a unique example of being a host, because they went above and beyond to accommodate a unique stay. Our stay at Triple Palms Oasis was a blessing and gave us hope for a great adventure on our full time U.S. road trip. We will never forget their kindness and will pay it forward most definitely. It’s a great location to explore and see what the area has to offer visitors. Cheers to Ed n Geri at Triple Palms Oasis.
Thank you both so much for opening your location to us and to creating it with easy in and out. Sorry we didn't get a chance to sit together. Be well and Happy New Year
Our hosts are very gracious. Their property is spacious and quiet with local wildlife to entertain you and a beautiful night sky. Definitely need this break from the cities.
I truly enjoyed my stay with EdnGeri. They have a beautiful place. I had a problem with one of my landing gear pads, Ed was gracious to let me send the new pad ahead to their address. When I arrived it was there.
The hosts were very nice, I hope to visit them again another year.
Our hosts were friendly and very accomodating. They clearly have been hard at work turning their new property into a little oasis.
The property is close to the edge of town and wonderfully quiet with lots of wildlife: quail, bunnies, etc..Loved the sounds of coyotes at night.
Hope to stay again when we come through Quartsite.
If I only rated Triple Palms by host hospitality
it would receive a 10+. Factor in Geri's beautiful Zen garden, Ed's wry sense of humor, lovely views, desert wildlife AND a hookup. and you have the perfect desert stopover.
Got to the host's location in the late afternoon. Ed and Geri had guests that we didn't want to intrude upon, but Ed gave us the basics on site and hookups. Had a nice conversation switch him the next morning, and he provided some information about the town. A short but enjoyable stay.
Ed met us with a warm welcome and info about the area. We really enjoyed our stay. If we are back in the area we will definitely reach out to Ed again.
Host was very friendly and informative and provided a lot of information regarding the local area. Location was extremely quiet with a big beautiful sky. Easy hook up and nice flat area. Definitely revisiting and taking a look at all the goings on in Quartzite.
EdnGeri were amazing hosts. They had a packet for us on arrival on local BLM, things to do and shopping recommendations. I had a number of great conversations with Ed about local trails that we rode our ebikes on, Quartzite in general and each of our lives. They provided a great spot for us out of the way at their home. They are what makes BW the best.
What a beautiful property and a nice couple! They greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of useful information about the area and what we could check out in town. They also showed us the local dog park. I would definitely come back and recommend them for sure! Very spacious and easy to pull in and out of their hook up spots as well.
We just did an overnight, but would love to stay longer next time to enjoy Quartzite. Plenty of room for our 39’ 5th wheel. Sweet couple of hosts!
This was our first time using Boondockers Welcome! We were a little nervous at first, but quickly got over it! We had such a great time! My family and I had some issues with our tow and ended up getting to the location later then we originally planned. Ed and Geri had the entire yard lit up for us to see, and greeted us as we arrived. The location was clean, clear, and level. Ed let us know that if we liked we could join him to see him fly a RC Plane. We took the kids to the airfield nearby and the kids had a blast. Ed also brought an RC car that he let my kids play with at a track. Then Ed showed us a local grocery store and let us know a few other sites to see in the area. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend anyone to take a stop at Triple Palms Oasis to get to know Quartzsite!
Great place to stop and hang your hat. Easy entrance and safe. Wish we had more time to spend with EdnGeri but our schedules kept us both busy. Good luck on your new garden. Maybe next time we pass through your way there will be fresh picked veggies. 😁
Thanks Ed and Geri for opening your home for boondockers. I enjoyed seeing some of Geri's handiwork with crafts and learning about and hearing Ed's keyboard music. And ... they have some rather extensive gardening plans. My stay was a rather business oriented one, and they gave me space to be about what I needed to do ... but we also had some nice talks. Much appreciated!
This was a perfect respite after a long HOT (108f) day of inspecting and buying a new (used) motorhome. We drove from Palm Desert to Quartzsite and pulled in hot and tired. Easy to get to off I-10 and easy to find. Our host greeted us warmly and helped us get settled into his nice long, flat guest parking space - and did we ever appreciate having 30 amp power that day! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your aptly named “oasis”. We would happily stay there again — and might even be more sociable and friendly the next time😊
We had a great stay at this Oasis . The property was large enough for a 45 foot motorhome and they have hook ups for electricity available. The sunsets were amazing and we got to have a night out at The sunsets were amazing and we got to have a night out at Al’s Pizza after Exploring the spiral labyrinth in the Kofa National forest.
My stay with Ed and Geri was absolutely delightful. Navigation around their property was easy. Everything was LEVEL!! Both were so helpful to get me, a single lady, settled and safe. In addition to a great site, they provided a gorgeous sunset and a stunning canopy of the night stars! My only disappointment was that Ed didn't have the time to play his bagpipes! Well, next time! And believe me, there WILL be a next time!
