I have been a lover of the outdoors my whole life. I spend a lot of time working (U.S Navy, active duty), and because of that I like to devote every minute of free time I get to exploring the stunning places around me. I've moved into my campervan full time for the summer, so in addition to getting into the National Parks/Forests and surrounding nature, I also like to stay at local spots sometimes just to add some variety to my sleeping arrangements.
I'm fully self sufficient- I don't require any hookups or assistance at all. Just a safe spot where I don't have to worry about bothering anyone with my B350 van. I love solo travel and am generally keeping to myself when on the road, but I am also very friendly and willing to help out if you ever need anything.
I studied Computer Science for my degree, so generally tech savvy. I also am an avid cook/baker, so I might have a little bit of skill to share there (sourdough bread is a favorite pastime of mine). I am a rock climber, trying to get back into the swing of things after a long time unable to get out my gear and climb.
One dog (other than a red tailed boa named Lana, but she didn't move into the van with me). Azula is a German Shepherd, adores people and loves making animal friends too.
So far dispersed camping in National Forests is my go-to, and always a beautiful time.
Bremerton, WA. Originally from San Diego, CA.
I have a Dodge Ram B350 professionally converted camper. It's a V8, reliable engine, and does fairly well on non-paved roads (but has known to get stuck if conditions are muddy and wet). Fully contained with black water/gray water/ kitchen sink, etc. I'm usually living off the grid, so I don't need any hookups and won't be doing any dumping.
Simply the kind of guests we all hope for! Curtious and respectful in every way possible, only regret is we didn't get to spend enough time together to really enjoy Lindsey, her friend and their lil' puppy. Hope to host them again with brighter, drier days so we could visit and enjoy some of their boondocking experiences. Feel good hosting these fine young folks.
Lindseycurtis was a great guest and we enjoyed the short visit we had with them. Courteous and provided good communication.
Lindseycurtis is welcome anytime. Hopefully the rainy weather and mud will give way to more sunny days and dry roads the next time.
