I'm a young-at-heart nearly 70 year old writer and artist blessed to live on a big, beautiful piece of land in the high desert mountains between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. I am passionate about the environment and, as an aging hippy, am a proud Liberal. I had a 1972 Airstream that I towed to some amazing places but towing got to be too much work. Now I have an incredible 2002 Born Free class C.

Doc and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay on the property. I learned a lot about the land and gained a lot of knowledge. We appreciate the host letting us stay on her property.
As first time trailer travelers we are still learning the ropes. The gravel road down into this quiet area was tricky but our hostess was extremely helpful. Once we were settled in it was amazing. We had snow one night and woke up to some amazing views.
We really enjoyed our stay. This location is close enough to spend the day in Santa Fe and to return and relax. Great host and a wonderful location.
RavenTree is a terrific host with a great spot to rest the RV. The views of the desert hills & mountains are grand and RavenTree has lots of RV experience. The drive in is just as described, so go slowly.
In my 25' rig I had no trouble, but I imagine a really long rig could be a serious challenge.
Host was very welcoming and helpful and gave lots of helpful information in her description of the property. Was a nice quiet place to stay and work from “home.” Her land and the whole area is extremely beautiful and we got out to enjoy the nearby hiking and mountain biking. We did use our 4WD to get in and out, as the soil is loose and gravelly in places. With our WeBoost we had good ATT and Verizon, but no ATT without it.
Absolutely beautiful location with a great view. Very private and quiet. Host was very welcoming and helped us get situated. Thank you for a great stay.
RavenTree was super welcoming and immediately has plenty to chat about.
Her RV furnace was destroyed by mud wasps and we serendipitously had scheduled work from the same local shop.
Would stay again, she's in such a scenic area by Sandia Peak and close to ABQ and Santa Fe.
Great location and scenery, gracious host. Drove up to the ski area and hiked in the Cibola National Forest.
This was our first stay with a BW host and I don’t think it could possibly have been a better experience. Raven Tree was very accommodating, helpful and has a really great place to stay. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.
Thank you Susan for hosting us on your beautiful property!
Susan was very kind and welcoming. We were running late and she still insisted we stay.
Really wonderful stay. Was blessed with seeing one of those miraculous double rainbows. The place is quiet, secure, remote, beautiful views, great hook ups, and a most wonderful host.
Another opportunity to stay with someone off the beaten path and enjoy beautiful surroundings.
S was great communicating with - very quick and responsive to our request to stay and to all my messages to her. She made sure we were settled into a great spot - level, electricity and water close by to fill our tank a bit. She checked in with us a couple of times to make sure all was well with everything.
Loved seeing her vintage airstream and the Artistic eclectic inside. We really enjoyed spending some time chatting; if I hadn’t crashed and napped away the afternoon I’m sure we could have had some great discussions about camping, art, music and life.
Highly recommend staying at Raven Tree! Thank you S for being a BW Host!
I enjoyed my short visit at RavenTree. My host was gracious and accommodating. Several level sites to choose from and water/15A if needed. I was intimidated by the incline down my hosts driveway but it was easy peasy! (beginner jitters). Not much was open in the old historic part of ABQ and it was still hot out. I did get to visit Petroglyph National Monument, ABQ Botanical Gardens ( just reopened), and had a few hours left to peruse some shops in the Old Town area. Really neat, old architecture. Best of all: lots of available parking and hardly any touristas. A big thanks to ALL the hosts who provide a safe place for us. We really appreciate your hospitality!
We stayed at RavenTree’s Property for our very first night BOTH in our new camper van and as Boondockers Welcome members and our experience was amazing!! Our host was there to greet us and offered hookups and we had nice conversation upon arrival. The property is very peaceful and quiet and had stunning views. We had a lovely conversation with our host before we departed in the morning and will definitely be back if our travels pass us through this part of the country again! Thank you again for everything RavenTree!
